How to get rid of main menu on my hanns-g hw173d that keeps on popping. help me to solve this please

It's not a very good solution, but you can open the monitor and disconnect the button-panels plug on the mainboard. Afterwards the buttons don't work any more (surprise) but the control panel disappears.

Flashing green led on my hanns-g HX191D

Try it on another PC fIrst.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Blue amber flashing no picture

Hello,

Very common problem with these monitors after 2-3 years. The power supplies have died. Go to our web site and we have repair guides for Hanns-G monitors. The problem is the heat buildup in the case has caused the capacitors in the power supply to blow. If you can solder you can fix your monitors. Go to our web site at: www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm check out the pictures of what to look for in your monitor. Open the back and replace any that look like the pictures. Be sure to use high temp caps (105c) not like you would find at Radio Shack or you will have to do it again in a month or two. We carry the caps in stock or they can be ordered from several places. Just install the new caps with the polarity strip going the same way as the old one came out and solder them in. You should be back going in no time. If you don't want to do the repair yourself we do offer a repair service for $35 + return shipping. Let me know if you have any questions.

I hope this helps, If so please rate our solution.
