Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player
I have connected up my E250 and i cant find the music on it in media player or if i click on my computer i only find video folder and pic folder nothing for music. the tracks are on there but i cant find it on the computer when connected
The reason you can't see it, is that, for some unknown reason, the music folder is hidden by default. When viewing the Sansa in Windows Explorer you need to enable "view all folders". Click on the TOOLS menu at the top of the window, then folder options, click on the VIEW tab, and choose "Show hidden files and folders". Click APPLY and OK to come out.
You should now see the music folder and be able to drag and drop files to it. Don't forget to go back into Folder Options and hide the hidden folders again when you're finished, as leaving it in this setting can leave critical system files exposed, that could be accidentally deleted.
All this was for Windows XP, but other versions are similar, it was on the VIEW menu in Win 98 if I remember correctly. Hope that helps.

Are you in MTP or MSC mode?
You have to be in MSC mode to see anything in Windows Explorer.
