The reason you can't see it, is that, for some unknown reason, the music folder is hidden by default. When viewing the Sansa in Windows Explorer you need to enable "view all folders". Click on the TOOLS menu at the top of the window, then folder options, click on the VIEW tab, and choose "Show hidden files and folders". Click APPLY and OK to come out.

You should now see the music folder and be able to drag and drop files to it. Don't forget to go back into Folder Options and hide the hidden folders again when you're finished, as leaving it in this setting can leave critical system files exposed, that could be accidentally deleted.

All this was for Windows XP, but other versions are similar, it was on the VIEW menu in Win 98 if I remember correctly. Hope that helps.

Are you in MTP or MSC mode?

You have to be in MSC mode to see anything in Windows Explorer.

Wont open music folder

The folder option won't work particularly well - use Windows Media Player instead. If you continue to have problems:
Go ahead and do this, in case the DB is corrupted:
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx

Music Videos

I'm not an expert, but I do have a Sansa e250, too. Sounds like you need to download a Sansa Media Converter.

Here's the link: http://www.sandisk.com/driverdownload/download.asp?driverId=184

Once that is downloaded and installed, open it, plug your Sansa into the computer by USB cable, click "Add media". Then you should see a window that says "Add media" Select the media you want to put on your Sansa. Once the media is added, then click "Convert". After it is finished converting, it should be on your Sansa. Hope that helps!

Deleting songs

Chances are that you are using windows xp. open up your sansa folder to where it says pictuer, movies, ect. look at the picture to see what to do. In your player folder click tools --> folder options --> View. Under hidden files and folders click 'show hidden files and folders, click ok. The music folder would now show up where the videos and pictures are. Simply open the music folder and delete the ones you do not want. By default the songs are sorted by artist --> album --> song.
