SOURCE: i recently updated my bios
Why do you think that you need to roll-back?
Each BIOS-update typically is 95% the "same" as the previous, so it's strange that the "new" 5% could be causing a problem.
What has stopped working?
Did you use the BIOS-update utility to create a 'backup' of the old BIOS? If so, re-flash with that code.
If not, look at the web-site from where you got the updated BIOS;
perhaps, it also offers back-level versions of the BIOS.
Re-flash your BIOS, with the older code.

SOURCE: Please tell me that the
Difficult to say, the manufacturers don't test every CPU however and the 8500 which is a slightly faster spec is supported. Without wanting to commit myself, I'd personally try it. I think the worse that would happen would be the bios not recognising the cpu and it refusing to boot

SOURCE: which pins are the power
The requested pins are 15 and 16 at JPANEL1 connector. There is no polarity, since the power switch is a simple button. You can take a look at this picture:

I don't know how to say whether it's horizontal or vertical, but let me explain you with a screenshot.
Look at the below illustration:
The power (pwr) connectors should be connected to 16, the Rest to 8 and the Power Led should be connected to 4 and 5 from right i.e. from 16.
Hope this helps.
