I do not have any voice but do have picture. Volume is turned up.

If you are not receiving any sound on your nuvi 200 or 205 series device the first thing to check is that the sound is not muted. To ensure that your units sound is not muted please perform the following:
  1. Turn the device on
  2. Press the Volume button on the 'Where To?', 'View Map' screen
  3. Ensure the Mute box is not 'checked'
If the mute button is not 'ticked', you will need to change the voice to ensure that the preset voice is not faulty:
  1. Turn the device on
  2. Touch the Tool icon
  3. Touch Settings
  4. Touch Language
  5. Touch the language voice next to Voice
  6. Scroll through and select another appropriate voice

If changing the voice is not helping you will need to ensure that you are running the latest software which can be done by installing a program called WebUpdater. WebUpdater can be installed via the link below:

http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=999-99999-27

Once updated please allow the unit to reboot which will ensure the software successfully installs.

If after following all the above the final steps would be to perform a master reset:

Note: A master reset will erase all waypoints or favorites and will restore your unit to the default factory settings.
  1. Start with the unit OFF and unplugged from power
  2. Touch and hold the lower right corner of the screen with an index finger or the eraser end of a pencil
  3. Continue touching and holding the lower right hand corner of the screen then power the unit ON
  4. Release the power button when the device powers on. After 5-10 seconds you will see a new message: Do you really want to erase all user data?
  5. Remove your finger from the touchscreen when this message displays
  6. Touch Yes

The device will automatically reset. Please follow the on screen prompts on the nuvi and when completed place your device in an area with a clear view of the sky until it acquires satellites.

I brought a Nokia n70 3yrs bk.. it was working fine until day before yesterday.. but since yesterday when i get a call i am not able to see the caller name or the number from which he is calling.. I am not...

Delete whatever is possible from your phone memory like contacts, or duplicate contacts (same contact saved twice on both sim and phone memory), inbox messages, sent messages, outbox messages, bluetooth received files, etc.. and restart your phone. If possible check the memory and scan it using an updated antivirus. Try accessing the phone without the memory card installed. It's also important to format the memory card if it works properly without the memory card.

Don't forget to Restore it's setting to Factory Default, you can do this from the Settings > press up key once and then "Restore Factory" enter 12345 (if you haven't changed it) when you are asked to enter the security code. Your phone will automatically restart.

If you need further help, let me know.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I need to reprogram the message to each extension but I do not have the owners manual. Also I need to change the message for the mailbox when people call in to the office and the office is closed so they...

en tso person at 102 dials 107 or 115, he gets a "welcome to the Panasonic voice processing system" message or similar. WIth a (n optional) password, he can enter the mailbox and make changes to the greetings and name. (possibly option 4 or 5) 1,2,3. That changes the name.

Sorry for the 1/3 answer, but you only answered 1 of 3 questions. The sytem is not a 7736, but a TA/TAW or TDA phone SYSTEM and a TVA or TVS or embedded Voice Mail.

I gave an answer based on TA-824 and TVA-50. When you figure out what that black and blue box is (TVA-50) see if you can find a manual with how it was installed. Your sytem own'er's mailbox (999) lets you control the dial by name directory and reset passwords.

I changed the "Language" setting on my GPS and now it is not giving me street names. Do you think that because i changed language setting, it messed something up. Thanks in advance.

It's possible that you disabled the voice.
1. First check that the volume is not fully down or muted. Press the speaker symbol and you will be able to see.
2. If the voice is disabled; Press TOOLS, then SETTINGS then LANGUAGE. Press VOICE and ensure that one is selected. If this doesn't solve the problem try selecting a different voice.
3. If this still doesn't solve the problem it's possible that the voice file is corrupted. To download a new voice file connect your satnav to your computer. Download and install the latest version of webupdater from http://www8.garmin.com/support/collection.jsp?product=999-99999-27. When it's installed it will look for updates to the software. After that it will give you an option to download voice files. Select the ones you want, press Next and they will download to your satnav. After this you'll need to go back and select a voice as described in 2 above.

I have downloaded Google talk and Google talk plug in -- still I am not able to chat on video -- what is the solution

Welcome to FixYa
Hello,
Google talk Video Chat is Possible through Web browser like Chrome,Explorer .Not Possible in Messenger Software as yet.You have to Download Video Codec to Start Video chat in Google talk and Sign in to G mail account.
Here's what you'll need to get started:
  • Download the Gmail voice and video chat plug-in, quit all open browser windows, and install the plug-in.
  • Sign in to Gmail.
  • In the Chat section of your Gmail, select the contact you want to call. If they have a camera icon next to their name, you can make a voice or video call to them; just click Video & more.
If your friend doesn't have a camera next to their name in your chat list, you can invite them to download the Gmail voice and video chat plug-in from the Video & more menu in a chat window. Even if your friend doesn't have a video camera, you can still have a voice chat or a 1-way video chat.

You can now select a voice to install on the device.
Once you have installed a voice, change it by
  • Disconnect the TomTom from your computer
  • Turn on the TomTom
  • Touch the screen to bring up the menu
  • Touch 'Change Preferences'
  • Touch 'Voice Preferences'

If your system is a Nortel Callpilot just log into your mailbox, then press 8, the first option "Record your name in the company directory" is what I think you're looking for.
