SOURCE: Need a duel fuel range
We love ours have had it for two years. We have the 48" Dual fuel with the grill on top. Model ZDP48N6RH2SS.
The only issue we had to adjust to is the btu's (stove top flame) are so high and there is designated simmer burner or low btu burner.
The grill is excellent especially in the winter but you have to follow the instructions. First time use we didn't let it heat up long enough. Patience - it's worth it.
That's for our model from 2006.
YOu must be sure to get a strong enough range hood for the range you buy.

HI. A F-9 code will, generally, be the result of a Problem with your door lock circuit, such as pinched wires between the Electronic Range Control board (ERC), and door lock switch. I would inspect the wiring to , and from the door lock switch for faults. If all wiring is ok, and visibly connected well at the switch, and control board, this will confirm that the door switch has failed. Use the procedure below to confirm the failure.
Before repairs or further testing can begin you must disconnect the electricity at the fuse panel, at the circuit breaker panel, or by pulling the plug. Make sure the power is off before proceeding. Gain access to the latch assembly.Set the latch to the "clean" position, and test for circuit continuity at the terminals of the switch with your VOM's ohmmeter function. If there is no continuity, the switch is faulty. Use caution when testing.

I had the same thing just occur. GE is now telling me the only fix is to buy a new range. Great. $10K for a range that I use once.

SOURCE: I have a 48" GE
I just bought a new/used GE mongram natural gas range and need an LP conversion kit. Called GE and found them very UNhelpful. Can this be this hard? The party I called will not take the range back. $3000! I thought I got a great deal and cannot use the range the way it is. I need help too.

Problem with door circuit. You may have a pinched wire between control board and door lock switch. Unplug range. Gain access to the control panel and unplug all connectors. let it sit for a minute. plug all connectors back in. examine wires going to the door lock, ensure that they are not pinched. check operation of the door lock. If problem persist, you may have to replace door lock.
