Why do you think that you need to roll-back?
Each BIOS-update typically is 95% the "same" as the previous, so it's strange that the "new" 5% could be causing a problem.
What has stopped working?

Did you use the BIOS-update utility to create a 'backup' of the old BIOS? If so, re-flash with that code.

If not, look at the web-site from where you got the updated BIOS;
perhaps, it also offers back-level versions of the BIOS.
Re-flash your BIOS, with the older code.

the problem is after updating bios , when i connect a usb drive it notifies to connect it to usb 2.0 port and the copying is very slow as well as writing to it.
    what i should do

as wel i try to change bios settings for usb 2.0 but the settings are absent unlike before

The USB device is capable of USB 2.0 (high-speed) operation, but either you are connecting the device to a USB 1.1 port, or the device-driver that Windows is using is *NOT* the USB 2.0 device-driver. Access DEVICE MANAGER, and double-click the USB device, and click UPDATE DRIVER, to search for a better driver.

I have a ASROCK G31 945 intel MOther board , When i purchased i fiited with IDE CD/DVD Drive . INow is it possible to connect the SATA CD/DVD drive to my mother board. i have SATA connector on my MB ....

You need is an open slot for the drive, an available SATA slot / cord, and a SATA power. It may require you to go into BIOS, and in some cases a driver for the new drive. Don't forget the SATA drivers if you have XP.

I don't know what version of the G31-M7TE you have, they list three at this link, but hopefully this helps you. I don't see anything for Win 7 but They do have Vista and earlier.

Please tell me that the G31-M7te mobo supports the E8400 CPU...I just ordered the cpu and noticed that the E8400 isnt on the motherboards list of cpu's on biostars website...Any help would be appreciated...

Difficult to say, the manufacturers don't test every CPU however and the 8500 which is a slightly faster spec is supported. Without wanting to commit myself, I'd personally try it. I think the worse that would happen would be the bios not recognising the cpu and it refusing to boot

Access the Windows DEVICE MANAGER.
Select the USB hardware.
Click UPDATE DRIVER, and see if Windows Update can download and provide the correct device-driver to enable USB 2.0 support on your USB 2.0 ports.

Or, try: and see if the updated USB device-driver is posted on their "Support

Bios flash

firstly i want to tell you that every motherbord bios has a unique program to control the devices.
it this bios is fit on another board casing then you try to firstly run the mother board with old bios. then copy the bios code by any flashing tool and then remove this bios and fit the dead mother board bios in the casing then flash it and then update it which file you copy the old one.
then your motherboard perhaps go on with the dead motherboard bios.
