This question is in regard to my Vigora wireless sprinkler timer.
Since I just removed a corroded battery, is the unit ruined? I tried two new batteries and neither got the unit working. I had the battery installed correctly. Do I just need a new unit?

Thank you. That's what I had decided.

Unfortunately the waterproof which is a gasket on the battery door but there also some other points that there was a water leak to the internal electronics which mean that it have been completely destroyed and you need a new one.

Why wont my car turn over battery is brand new?

Ensure the battery terminals on the cable is clean, if corroded, submerge in a mixture of baking soda and water. Just mix a spoonful in about 150ml water in a disposable cup and either pour it on or get the terminal in the liquid.
Other than that you may need to check ignition fuses, relays or power to the starter.

Check the battery terminals, clean and tight? Check the fuses with a multimeter. Check all wire plug-in connections, including the switch and inside the headlight housing. As you are checking, look for loose connections, dirty and corroded connections and abraded wires. This shouldn't have anything to do with the oil change unless the shop is drumming up additional service work. Ya never know...

2003 Buick Century won"t start--can hear the clicking under the engine.

Hi
If you can hear clicking under the hood, my guess is corroded battery terminals. Use water and some baking soda. Pour on terminals AFTER you disconnect them. Don't spill on your paint and rinse well. Next check the cables for wear and for a corroded ground wire to the frame. Check the cables at the starter. Then make sure your battery has 12V DC. If all good, look toward starter solenoid or starter itself.

I can't get the positive battery terminal cable off of the old battery because it is too corroded. So, I would like to replace both terminal cables and the battery. The problem is there is a wiring harness...

Best would be to wet the battery terminals with water, take a sponge and place it on the battery terminals which are corroded and pour water to it, let it stay a while and again pour some water to the sponge, you will note tht the corrosion will start to fade away and thus you will be able to remove the battery terminals kinda easily!.
Hope this helps!

Maytag refrigerator Model MZ02766GEW does not dispense water

In the water supply line to the refrigerator is normally a saddle type valve where the water supply is connected to your house water line. Trace it back and shut the valve off fully then turn it back on. When some work is done to any part of your household water system sediment may have lodged in the saddle valve causing a restriction. Closing the saddle valve and reopening it may dislodge the restriction.
