Have you tried adjusting the temp control setting behind the handle. Remove handle and mark the dial or remember where it located and slide it out of place so you can move it counter clock wise maybe a 1/4" turn and put handle on and turn faucet on and check for hotter water.
It is a anti scald valve and it's preset to a certain temperture for safety.

I recently had a Glacier Bay single handle shower faucet installed. The hot water is barely lukewarm. What is the problem?

Inside the handle assembly there is an adjustment for the anti-scald feature. If the installer left you the owners manual,it should have instructions how to adjust it. If not, have the installer come back to adjust it.

I have a Delta 1700 bath faucet that now only puts out lukewarm water, though it used to get very hot. We have tried to adjust it according to the instructions on the Delta web site, but it doesn't work. ...

Is it a single handle faucet and the dial behind the handle have you removed it and turn it a 1/8 to 1/4 turn and reinstalled. That will control the temp of hot and cold.

Hot water comes out lukewarm

Pop out center of handle, and remove the screw from center, and remove handle. There should be a little nylon gear like sleeve that will pull out from center. Pull it out, and rotate it one way or the other, a little at a time, and slide it back in. Now just slide your handle on long enough to try it, no need to attach with screw yet until your done. May take a few tries to get it where you want it, then simply put handle back on, secure it with the screw, and snap cap back over screw.

Moen T910 Kingsley two handle, whirlpool tub faucet. The hot water handle only puts out lukewarm water. The water heater is turned up and all the other faucets in the house put out scalding hot water.

if you remove the hot water handle on the faucet you can adjust the stop. if it is a newer faucet it has a built in scold guard. the directions should tell you which direction to move the stop to get hotter water

Not enough hot water, has to do with a shower valve

Hello, first if any water supply hot or cold is turned off, you will experience trickling as you mention. You must have both cold and hot in order to adjust the temperature on your valve. if you had a plumber intall this unit you should ask him to adjust it. Otherwise here is how:
Rotate the handle counterclockwise to stop and let water run till cold water is purged, check
temperature. Rotate handle to off, remove handle parts (see Disassembly in your manual) and temperature limit stop, rotate clockwise to decrease and counterclockwise to increase maximum hot water temperature, reinstall temperature limit stop and handle (TIP: Do not screw handle in until desired maximum temperature is achieved) Repeat steps until desired maximum
temperature is achieved
