Question about Sanyo DVW-5000 DVD Player/VCR
My dvd player will turn on and run for no longer than 5 minutes until it shuts down and power quits running through the player. I removed the top panel and placed my hand one silver block or column- possibly this is called a contacter- I dunno- anyway it's ridiculously hot. If this tremendous overheating is what's causing my player to shut down what can I do?
THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR IS MALFUNCTIONING, THE ONLY SOLUTION WOULD BE TO GET IT REPAIRED IF ITS UNDER WARRANTY. IF NOT ITS CHEAPER TO BUY A NEW ONE
