Question about Graphics Cards

1 Answer

I want dual monitor for my PC

I currently have an Nvidia GeForce 6150 LE, rev a2. I have it connected with a monitor. I have another (identical) monitor I want to use, too. But I don't know which product I should buy. Any ideas?

I don't want to pay more than $100, but I wanna retain my 3d acceleration capabilities my card has.

    I see, I see... So this other video card would have to be a simple one, then right? (no 3d acceleration). And will there be any problems related to having two different cards instead of one dual output? (I'm using Linux, btw.)

    And one more: :) Are agp cards different from pci cards? (will a card for pci work on agp and/or viceversa?)

Simply install another video card or get a card that has two outputs no pc will work with more than two video cards but the best setup is 1 on main board and one in the agp slot . or 1pci and 1 agp then enable them in your display settings :)

Where can I find a driver/adapter for Advent X19W LCD Monitor?

Goto device manager , uninstall the card. go into control panel and check that the driver is uninstalled from the programs list. Swich of the pc for a minute or two then reboot Windows updares does not download drivers for graphics cards so will not install or reinstall the driver that is causing the issue, 307? Users forget to uninstall from program manger in control panel which is why the card keeps reinstalling with the undesired driver.
Please let me know what happens

If you're having trouble on display in your monitor,please check the following;

1. Check your CPU if its responding,booting or the power light indicator is running.
2. Check the video card slot pin if its align and clean,as well as the serial/com cable connected ion both ends.
3. Try to replace another video card, might the current attached is damage.
4. Check all cords and see if there's some intermittent lines neither need to replace new cord.

good luck,

The only time that this can happen is if the driver is not installed correctly, as on install you are normally asked if you want to activate support for dual monitors, so if you havent already, uninstall the card driver, restart and install driver again from the cd or from the NVIDIA website. http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71.html If you have already tried this my apologies.
