You have the Language set incorrectly
Click --> Start --> Control Panel --> Regional Language Options
Check all the settings and are set to English(UK)
Click the "Languages" click "Details" then "Add" English (UK)
I believe yours is currently set to English(US)

It sounds like you installed the French dictionary.
You need to install the English one, the dictionary is on your Word Processor installation CD. Don't forget to remoce the French dictionary.

The Access Options button is located in the lower part of the menu that opens after you click the Microsoft Office Button .

1 Go to the programme which has been chosen to type text. MS word or any other 2 Go to tools and select language 3 Click on the language you want or click on detect automatically 4 Press OK
