Try connecting another screen (any other screen, doesn't have to be plasma) or try connecting the screen with the problem to another machine. Either way you'll eliminate one piece of hardware. Either the lines will still be there on the screen, in which case the screen is faulty and needs repairing, or they won't be in which case the problem most likely lies in the display card.

hello,

if you see a line across the screen it can be :
1. your monitor is going thebe defect
2.your graphic card is defect

Very faint vertical bar moving across plasma screen.


OK... Left to Right is weird. I'd say one of two things.
Refresh Rate might be to low or to high, but i doubt this to be the cause. I'll put my money on external interferences. Something like another PC screen? TV? anything magnetic and I've even in some cases noticed PC side panels too close to a screen can cause this.

Picture has gone on my lg 42ins plasma only yellowy green lines apear on screen set is about 3 years old


well basically the problem was on your video card, you need to replace it to correct the problem.

I have a solid white line going across the centre of my screen.when turned on the picture is split in 2


Try an external/different monitor, also if running windows you can try a fallback to a previous restore point. Also try the monitor on a different pc, if it's a desktop. That way, you will know if it's the video card in the pc.

Plasma tv is having two pictures, same picture is overlaping the first one and start from the half of the screen down


right click your desktop. go to properties. the wallpaper settings are set to tile
