Insert the MicroSD card into an
available media reader slot on your PC. If your media reader can't read
MicroSD cards, but can read ordinary SD cards, first insert the MicroSD
card into an SD adapter, and then insert the adapter into the slot. You
will see an autoplay menu for the disk pop up on the screen.2 Open the folders on the disk and
navigate to the "System" folder. Click on the "Open folders to view
files" option from the autoplay menu, then double-click on the folder
that says "System." This is where your card's password file is stored.3 Open the password file. In the
"System" folder, find the file that has MMCSTORE somewhere in its name.
It may have additional letters, numbers and characters, but it will
always have MMCSTORE in the title. Double-click on this file to open it
in Notepad. The text inside this file is your lost Micro SD password.
It might be broken. TO check, insert it into another phone that requires micro sd card. OR insert it into a micro sd adapter, then put it in a SD card reader, then connect it to your computer and see if it can be read. If your computer can read it, format it then try it on your phone again (All files will be deleted when you format it). If all devices can't read it, then that is the end of it.
hi well sometimes it happens that laptops or desktops cant read a phone's micro sd card from usb cable so the easiest way is to download a software for your htc!this can be use to make the laptop recognised your phone or else just get a sd/mmc/rs-mmc usb card reader..just put your micro sd in the mmc card reader and plug it in your laptop as a usb pen dirve!!This method is simple, fast and easy..
I/O error is an input output error - it means the card reader cannot read the SD card. Possibly the card reader is defective or the adapter is defective. Is the adapter or the card "locked" there should be a little slide ont he side - be sure it is all the way in the open position. There is a software called Oxycube which will read most phones using a data cable or bluetooth if your pc has an adapter - it will save pix from either the fone or a storage card.
-this phone seems to have a micro sd card slot - you can insert a micro-sd card and transfer the photos to the card, then read the card on the laptop with a reader that supports micro sd. so, you should check into the laptop and see if it has any card readers built in since you may need an additional adapter or device in order to connect the micro sd card to the laptop. some micro sd cards will come with adapters to the larger sizes of mini and standars sd card, which may help. you might also have luck putting the card from the phone into some other connectible device (ie a camera) and move the files in that manner - but depending on your hardware and software this may not be a viable option (inexpensive to try, though, if you already own some compatible device)
if your sd card is read by the card reader..... its possible to install a new songs.... first you want to do is find a folder to your micro sd that contain a music file.. second be sure that you know the audio format file.. then copy paste audio from computer to micro sd...
Unfortunately, we have found an incompatibility with a new
revision of our microSD and the USB adapter that accompanied the card you
purchased. We are in the process of solving the compatibility issue. We are
truly sorry for the inconvenience and would like to send a new card that is
compatible with your USB adapter. Your original card should be functional in
other adapters, phones, and cameras. The microSD card's compatibility problem
should only exist with that USB Adapter. For your inconvenience, there will be
no need to ship the original microSD card back to us so feel free to keep and
use them both. We would also like to send you two free music downloads from
Duracell Flash Memory.
If you would like to take advantage of this
offer, please let us know your full name, address, the size of the microSD, and
the name and location of the store from which you purchased your microSD. When
we receive your information we will ship your replacements parts and music
Best Regards, Duracell Flash Support Team
