Yes. SP3 from Microsoft has had errors that cause the system to become unstable. What you need to do Is to take your Re-installation CD that you were provided with when you purchased your computer and insert it into the drive. Now restart your computer and The second you see any screen besides black hit F8 that will give you an option to boot from CD do hat and then a screen will say press any key to boot from CD. Do that and it will begin to load drivers. Do nothing until you are at the main screen. It will say To repair the Operating System (OS) press R. Hit R and it will take you to a screen and ask you which drive you would like to enter. (It is normally C). It will have a number next to the drive. That number is what you enter in order to enter the drive. It will most likely ask you for an administrator password which is normally blank. Now you can attempt to fix your computer. Type in fixboot and hit enter. It will ask you if you would like to re-write the boot sector. Hit Y for yes It will re-write the boot sector. Type exit and your computer will reboot.

If this dosen't work, tell me and I will give you more advice.

Hope this Helps
All The Best,
RCF
