SOURCE: air conditioner freezing up
Your unit is low on freon. Take the unit to a service facility & have it recharged & the leak repaired. Note that ice formation may normal if the outside temperature is below 45-50F. If you must use it in the meantime, leaving the unit on fan only will melt the ice much faster.

Every co. has their own logic control and error codes , however in my knowledge it may be of :
1. motor connection
2. Defrost sensor error-chk condensor/ evap. coil
provide some more clue to explore option of trip.

set your unit to fan mode only, to thaw the ice, after the ice melts, look at your evaporator coil, see if its dirty, if its dirty, then you might just need a good cleaning. if the coil is clean, look at your thermostat setting. it should not be all the way cold. the compressor would run continously and it would freeze the coil. third, the refrigerant system could be partially clogged up or it lacks refrigerant. these problems initiate freezing of the coil.

SOURCE: Recharge air condition
if little air is coming out there maybe a problem in the blower or filters. But if there is air and its not that cold or warm then its a refrigerant problem or the lack of.
A simple check for lack of refrigerant would be to look at the refrigerant pipes on your rooftop unit and see if its freezing.
Altghough you can charge the unit by yourself, I would suggest to have it done by technicians because you would need to know how much refrigerant to put in there; what's the correct pressure; system integrity. You'll get your money's worth since it would not just be recharging but also system check.
I hope this helps.
