Sounds like alternator whine, can be a hard thing to fix or something really simply. here are some things to try: check your ground at the battery first, make sure it's a good connection on the battery and the bolt it's grounded to on the car, make sure the battery connections are clean, positive and negative. make sure you have a "good" ground on your amp/amps and radio. you can also try grounding the radio and amp at the same location to avoid "ground loops" don't run a long ground from amp, but run a wire from the radio to the amp ground. hope it helps. dave

Tried another needle and cleaned the contacts of the tonearm and this needle and recordddd?
measured the connections from your rca cables to the tone arm output? How old is the unit and have you ever replaced the tonearmwire(in the arm itself, the standard one sucks) and the external rca cable. Then it's about time if you havent. The standard cables are outdated and it will cost you together about 100euro, wires are about 70 euro for in your arm and buy some nice rca cables for 30 euro, not from technics which lay on the shelves for over ten years. It really souns better. I have a person which makes real nice cables for just 40 euro a pair, shielded , good rca plugs(i have phono outputs on all tables, no pcb, but those are wbt and are 100 euro a pair. The cables from that men really sounded good, while the denon distributeur sold me some different oyaide cables and i noticed nothing. The 1200 mk2 series are now really at an age that you need to refurbish the caps and resistors and wires and the spindlebearing and housing.... And don't let it be done by a so called service centre, do it yourself, 40 euro job for capacitors and 30 for the spindle and he is as new.

Will experienced Honda owners share best practices with a young family driving a 2004 Accord?

Tire-Go by the label on the door jam on the driver's door
Oil-Follow the manufacturer's recommendation in the owner's manual
Maintenance-Today's cars usually come with a maintenance schedule. Follow the proper maintenance for the mileage your car currently has on it.
If that puppy has only 45,000 miles on it, the timing chain shouldn't have to be replaced until it's between 120,000 and 150,000 miles.

Call honda and they will give it to you as soon as you satisfy them that you are the rightful owner of the vehicle. Had to do that with our '04 accord (bought used) when I replaced the battery.

Accord - 2004 check engine, (!)& VSA turns on the loss of power

The exact same thing just happened to me yesterday on a seven hour road trip from Atlanta. I have a manual V6 Ex four door, and I had to turn the car off and back on and allow the car to start with momentum while still driving for over three hours just to keep from have to rent a car and avoid a tow.

I have 58,000 miles on my 2006 accord, and I feel that I really got bit with purchasing this car. I almost got screwed with the third gear blow-out situation that Honda hid from buyers, but I caught mines while under warranty; still, I'm holding it against them with the next car purchase.

This was suppose to be my traveling car when I retired, and I keep a second car to "save" this car from city driving, and it is primarily used for these kinds of road trips of night driving through the mountains in the middle of the night.

I've had three Honda in a row with no issues at all, but luckily, I'm a fair weather fan, and I'll stick with a brand whether they "win or win"... and Honda isn't winning in my book, so I'm abandoning them whether it is covered under warranty or not.

hi the only soloution to the top coat peeling is a complete repaint as the top coat is not bonding to the base coat due to bad preperation with is done before you start to paint its a bit like when you paint somrthing at home and can,t be bothered to clean and rub down the old paint work then when it peels yougot to do it again sorry no short cut here any one that says there is is going to do a shoddy job and it will peel again yates210456

Flashing green s on the dash

A green flashing "S" is similar to a check engine light. It is telling you that something in or on your transmission is not functioning correctly, such as the speed sensor or shift control solenoids. If it starts flashing and the speedometer stops working or the transmission shifts weird, take it to a mechanic.
