Hi my ps3 is 5 days old and already had 2 freezes in uncharted 2 and 6 freezes in ac brotherhood multi online... any ideas? should i return it, is it normal????

Try to check the Blu-ray discs, maybe they are dirty or scratched

It's a problem with the game itself not your PS3. Some people never have a freeze up others it happens often. I actually didn't finish playing the game because it happened so often. The only thing that you can try is doing whatever caused the freeze a different way if that makes sense. Otherwise i'd recommend Uncharted 2 which I had no problems with.

Firmware 3.0 has been causing problems for Uncharted. Go to [Settings] and download the firmware 3.01 to fix the issue. The update is optional so you may not have known about it.

There is a problem with firmware 3.00 and Uncharted. Update your firmware to 3.01 by going to the [Settings] menu and selecting [System Update]. The update is optional.

I have the same problem. My PS3 had firmware 2.46 and the Drake's didn't has any problem, never freeze. After I conect my PS3 to intenet (I need update the firmware and download PSN sofware) the troubles begins. Actually I've firmware 3.0, and Uncharted is freezed frequently, then turn off the console, and turn on again, when XMB is ready, go to PSN Home, and back, then go to play to Uncharted, generally unfreeze it.
