Question about Fuji FinePix S5000 Digital Camera
Hello, I have a Fuji S5000 Digital Camera that has never caused me any problems. I was using both the movie and photo functions this afternoon when, all of a sudden, the EVF/LCD screen turned white. I have removed the batteries, turned the camera on and off and have reviewed the troubleshooting information in my manual. At this point, when the camera is turned on, all I see is a white screen. If I try to take a photo, the camera will take a picure, but when I go into playback mode, I see the same white screen only. Pictures I took before this issue started have been correctly saved on the xD Card and can be reviewed properly. Do any of you have a suggestion as to what the cause of this may be and how I might be able to fix it? Thank you very much!
I was told by fuji it is the ccd or cmos sensor effectively the eye of the camera it is faulty and needs replacement fuji said it would cost £90 to replace as the newer model of the fuji is only 145 i opted to buy a new camera so i bought i differant brand and am very happy with my dmc tz3
