i already tried that, a long long time ago, it's been on 1358 for nearly a year. i did some trouble shooting when i first installed the thing, i've just been putting up with it - but now our desktop is not working either.

i've just come back from 5 months away, and this time i am REALLY over it! especially as i need to access my yahoo account for work...

i tried 1400 too, just in case. we've cleaned all the ports, checked all the cords, replaced the telephone line, vaccumed... i just don't get it.

i'm going to try our service provider - Primus next, i'm just not looking forward to waiting on the phone for an hour!

do you have any other suggestions?

um, i'm not sure what you mean... i usually have the cable going from the DLink into the ethernet port on the emac, but have since tried just the modem with the ethernet cable in the same port... so yes? i've tried different cables in the same port?

i spent time with a support technician from Primus last night (all our connections are fine), but they don't support DLink! so i took out the router to see how the modem (iconnect access621) goes, and reconfigured the modem with the technician's instructions. it didn't work. he was supposed to call me back with another idea after talking to his supervisor, but of course that never happened!

alas, i'm still having problems, so i'm thinking it's the modem.

i actually have an extended warranty on the DLink, i'm going to take it back, and get a different router, and a new modem, to see if that works.

it's definitely not the computer, we just paid for it to be looked at and put more ram on.

What is your router? Try changing the MTU value of the router. You can see it in the configuration page.
The default is 1500. try lowering it to like 1490 first then 1450 if it still didn't work. You can use up to 1400.

What is Facebook spy?

It's a phishing scam. They want you to click on the link in the email and put in your personal information. It has nothing to do with Facebook at all (except for stealing your information). As long as you ignore and delete the email without clicking anything, you are safe.

How do I add facebook to yahoo toolbaar?

Facebook is one of the most popular social networking sites online and allows members to stay connected with friends online.

If you're an avid Facebook user, you can download and install the Facebook Toolbar, which lets you access your account in a click of a button.

In addition to logging in Facebook, the toolbar allows you to check your messages, view new friend requests, create an invitation and upload photos to your profile.

The Facebook Toolbar is available for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox users.
Sign in to your Facebook account and type "Facebook toolbar" in the main search field at the top of the page.

Select the "Facebook Toolbar Products/Services" page.

Click the "Download Facebook Toolbar" button.
The "File Download" dialog box will appear on the screen. Click "Run" to begin installing the Facebook toolbar.

The "Facebook IE Toolbar" installation window will open on the screen. Click "Next" to start the installation process.

When the installation process is near complete, you will be asked to restart Internet Explorer to finish the process.

Restart Internet Explorer.
Your new Facebook toolbar will appear at the top of your web browser.
Add and Remove Buttons on the Yahoo! Toolbar

The Yahoo! toolbar expands your search options and your ability to customize navigation to favorite links, including Yahoo! services like news headlines or email.

One way to personalize the Yahoo! toolbar is to create and add your own buttons so you can move from one Web destination to the next with a single click.

Log onto your account at the Yahoo! home page.

Open Internet Explorer to launch the Yahoo! toolbar.

Click on the 'Settings' button on the toolbar and choose 'Add/Edit Buttons.' Click the 'Make a Button' tab. Type in the URL of the Web site you wish this button to navigate to.

Click on your icon of choice to label the new button.

Save your new button by clicking the 'Save Changes' link.
Remove Buttons From the Yahoo! Toolbar

Click on the pencil icon to bring up the Personal Options menu.

Click on 'Add/Edit Buttons.'

Remove buttons by unchecking the box next to each unwanted button.

Click on 'Finished' to complete and save your changes.

Mailbox sccess is not supported on my Archos 10 internet tablet. How do I enable my tablet to accept my yahoo account?

Yahoo free email accounts cannot be setup via any devices and/or computer except access via the web. You have to pay for the Yahoo email Plus account in order to setup email on your device.
These are the settings if you doYahoo Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - (port 110)
Yahoo Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - (port 25)

I'd suggest getting a gmail account from google, free and it will work fine on your tablet. You can then create a rule in your yahoo to forward all email to your gmail account.

I can not reach yahoo web mail on my computer. I can not get past the yahoo search on my computer.

If you can not get through the yahoo web site to access your yahoo mail, it will be better to uninstall whatever internet browser you are currently using.

There is also another option of clearing your web cache, cookies and deleting your browsing history. It does help, although, it is advisable to fresh install a new internet browser.

Listed below are the most common internet browser download sites that you can access that you prefer.

1. Internet Explorer Download

2. Mozilla Firefox Download

3. Google Chrome Download

And, once you download and install your chosen internet browser, you can surf the yahoo site and access your yahoo mail with ease.

Enjoy It!

I am currently moving to Australia. How can I access my old email address here in New Zealand when I get to AU.

You can access your old email address via WEB mail.
If you have an email address through your Internet Service Provider then go to that providers WEB site and click on WEB mail then enter your login and password.
This is a way of accessing your emails when you are overseas on holidays.

TODAY everytime I try to open an email in my account, it goes to youcansearch, com without opening the mail??

Close Internet Explorer
Click Start
Click All Programs
Click Accessories
Click System Tools
Click "Start Internet Explorer (no add-ons)"
Access Yahoo, and check your E-mail.
If it works, then one of the "add-on" programs is "hijacking" your web-browser.

Or, you've got a computer-virus on your computer.

It has changed the file: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS

to access 'youcansearch' (by IP-address) when you try to access the Yahoo web-site.

I have a new computer and would like my old email.

Just connect to the internet and google your e-mail service, sign in just the way you did with your old computer.

Most e-mail services are web base except for the MS outlook.

AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, G-mail, Optimum are all web base.

Hope that helps,
