Meaning Wireless Networks you must be able to see as many networks that are available (and viewable) at the point that your laptop is. This means that you at your home you will not be able to see the networks that available at your work e.t.c. Another one point of interest is that some networks may be not viewable at not registered computers. I don't know how many available networks are in your area, so I can't be more specific. If you need more details, clarify me the problem.

Can i connect my hp netbook to nec vt 460?

If your netbook has an external VGA port (blue 9-pin connector) you may use the integrated dual display/extended/or external features of your netbook using the necVT460 VGA port. The resolution max supported is 800x600, so make sure you setup ur display at this resolution before attempting to extend the video signal.

I have a netbook. It does not see the wirless net work I am trying to connect to at my house. I keeps saying the page cannot be displayed..saying it might be experiencing tech. difficulties, yet I a...

First of all make sure that the wireless is turned on on the netbook. Then you should be able to right click on the one computer at the bottom right hand portion of the screen near the time and click view available wireless networks. If it does not show any networks, that means the wireless is not turned on. If it shows networks other than yours I would take it near the wireless router and hit refresh on the laptop or just repeat the right click and view available wireless networks. If you are near the wireless router and it does not pick it up then your wireless card might be faulty.

Lost wi fi connection to our wireless network, tablet displays "turning off" under the wi fi settings.

I suggest to reinstall the wireless card driver first ..just in case, this will solve any driver issues and will make it functional in case the driver or the setting are corrupted..
To download the driver in case you do not have it on disk or saved somewhere ..just go to downloads ...drivers and select the model and operation system you use..
download the wifi driver it again ..and after that restart ..and try to make the connection again ...Check the wireless card in device manager to see if it shows in order ...and did not appear in yellow which indicates driver related issues..
also be sure you have network signal ..and the router is functional case other computer is working with this network ..check to see if the connection actually works ..
To redo the connection ..just open the settings for wireless...and click scan for networks ...In the list of available connections yours..and click connect ..insert password if needed.
Good luck !

How do I get my net book to use wifi? I usually connect to broadband and want to use wifi in my hotel? It does not show any available networks. Do I have my security settings too high, or do I just need to...

First of all you may want to decide to check out if the wifi connection is disabled or enabled.
If you go to system settings, in the network area you should be able to see if the wifi card is enabled. If is not enabled you may want to right click on the wifi icon connection and click on enable.
If this was the issue you know should be able to see and display all available networks in your area

I can connect to wifi network at a hotel, but then came to family home can not connect now, however connection was available and able to connect 3 days ago to this network. I tried to and used restore...

I would for sure look at the security settings, you more than likely saved the profile from the hotel that may be configured as for example wpa and your home may be wep.... check your security settings to make sure you have the correct configurations, also I would go into your wireless settings and delete the hotels wireless profile. You will be able to see the security being used when you look at the network list that shows your ssid signal at home. please feel free to respond with any questions... I hope this helps and good luck. :)

How can I connect my laptop to the wireless router?

First of all look for the wireless switch of your netbook and make sure it is slid to the right (it has an icon of a computer with signals on both sides). Then press and hold the "Fn" key. While holding it down, press "F5". Make sure that the wireless is enabled. Then go to control panel. Click on Network and sharing center. Click on "Connect or Disconnect". It should display available networks that your computer detects. Click on your network and type the security key if prompted so.
