Might have blown a fuse or a shunt, try no batteries foe 24 hours. If that doesnt do it, its done. Good luck

I dropped the camera and the zoom lens got off line. It won't close or go back in the camera. It looks stuck and I tried pushing it in but I'm afraid that I might push hard that it'll break...

The lens may be fixable but most likely will need to be replaced.
If the lens is stuck straight or won't come out at all it needs to be replaced.
If the lens is stuck at an angle then you may be able to snap it back to the center by pressing the edge of the lens back towards center while holding on the outer ring of the lens.
Hope this helps!

Lens obstructed..daughter got camera for birthday ...still under warranty...what can I do to get it fixed?

First contact Kodak to see if they'll honor warranty repair. But if they don't, many cameras that fall prey to lens error problems (lens obstructed on Kodaks) can only be corrected by professional repair. But, here are some last resort troubleshooting steps that you can try that may correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty (or repair cost approaches that of the camera), they're worth that try.

G11 lens error and would not retract. applied gently pressure it retracted and seems to work but now does not focus.

Personally I wouldn't mess with it anymore, I know a lot of people say to push and pull on the lens and I don't think that's the best option especially since the focus is messed up now. I would just have it serviced and get it going right, maybe a part is damaged in there from when the lens got jammed. If you need help with it, try emailing this site: www.camerasandparts.com They just deal with problems on the Canon Powershots so my guess is they'll know right away what the problem is. If you need to have it serviced, they are excellent for help with these cameras and not expensive at all. Best of luck with the problem.

Canon powershot sd870 is wont shut the lens.. appears the error lens restart camera thing... it happened once but it fixed itself after not using it for a while but now it's back and worse, its pretty...

I know you're not in the US but try www.camerasandparts.com I don't know if they'll offer you service from where you are but in the US, there the ones for service on the Canon Powershot models. That problem is $79 for everything, parts and labor and shipping back. Just don't if they can help you if you're in Mexico. You can try Canon but they are typically a small fortune for repairs. Camerasandparts.com is the place that a lot of people in the US use for help with these Canon Powershots, just thought to throw it your way in case you want to email them and ask. Or maybe they can refer you to someone over there.

Problem with samsung L100

Ok, hello everyone who has bought the walmart camera ( im sorry it is not working ). The camera is designed with a sensor that detects if the lens is fully closed or not, now this may sound wrong to you but all that must be done is push that lens back into the camera, while you press the power button ( release as soon as you feel the the motor gearing up and you wil be ok) this solution works for most Samsung cameras, although the lg100 is what i just tried it on like 5 seconds ago. Also what this is from is a low battery or something actually wrong with the camera itself. The low battery cannot close the lens all the way.

Hope this helps, oh yeah wickedbadawesome.com = . thats me ( when i get that dumb site up and finished check it out)

Kodak C330 [lens error 14]

Hey Sarah, I'd say that up to 5 min ago, I was having the same problem. My camera (Kodak C330) had been giving me this Lens Error 14 for about a month and I hadn't been able to make it work. The first 2 times it did that, I turned it off and on again, but then it just would work anymore. I tried opening it but it wouldn't let me so I thought I was screwed.. until I found this forum where people seemed to think that banging on the bottom and pressing hard on the lens would fix the problem. I had nothing to lose so I tried and guess what: Now it's working fine again! I had taken it to the beach and I'm not sure if it's because I had gotten sand in it or water perhaps but in the user manual, it said that getting that error message after dropping it or getting it wet was voiding the warranty. So there. Hope that helps! ~Vero
