When i turn my rca m4304-a on it says profile required 20mb free space shutting down.. how can i fix it?

We are having the sam eproblem with the asking to free up 20mb. Your solution (The player needs free memory space for building up the playlists: delete the amount of data off the player.

Connect to the computer and backup all the data from the player onto the computer.
Next delete some of the saved data from the player to free at least 20 MB of memory.
All support for the RCA M4304 on next page:..... Does not work for us. When we plug it into the computer all it does is show it usb connected but we cant get into player anymore to delete anything. Please advice

When i turn on my player it tells me that profiling needs 20mb free space shutting down....that happens everytime i turn it on. somebody help plzzzz = )

Dear sir,

This is mainly due to over crowding of Mp3 files in your player. So delete the files by connecting it to PC, leave minimum 50 MB space empty always, because these spaces are used by MP3 player profiler.

i think it helps

good luck

Resettingmy mp3

I had the same EXACT problem as this and I fixed it but in order to fix it you lose all your songs :( Any way heres how)...Go into 'My Computer' and right click on device (my device showed up as a removable disk) select 'format' and follow steps... it took a few seconds. Then when you turn on your Opal it should work but wont have any songs on it.
