Sadly this is usually a sign of the Yellow Light Of Death (YLOD). When the PS3 was originally made Sony used lead free solder in their consoles. Lead free solder is not as flexible as normal leaded solder and over time due to expansion and contraction because of heat given off by the console's components lots of PS3's failed. You have got a couple of options, you can either have the console professionally repaired which is going to cost around £50. If the console is out of warranty Sony will only replace it for a cost of around £130. As a last resort if you are good with electrical items you might want to have a go at repairing it yourself. If you google YLOD you will find plenty of guides that will instruct you on how you can repair it yourself.

Please bear in mind that once a console has the YLOD there is NO guarantee as to how long a repair will last, it could be a couple of hours to a couple of years.

I hope this information helps you and I hope you get your PS3 up and running soon.

Do a OBD1 fault code test and see if a speed sensor code shows up, if this sensor is defective it will cause the truck to drop out oif OD. The VSS sensor is located on the drivers side of the transmission case. Use the Check engine light flash out to read the code.

Binoculars power on, then immediately off NIGHT OWL OPTICS NIGHT VISION BINOCULARS NOXB5

Hello there. Are you pointing your NV binoculars at bright light, if so, please stop. Therefore, if you are not then possibly the iit (image intensifier tube) is bad, or the auto shut-off is also shorted. Night Owl Optics are in El Paso, TX. Call Night Owl up, they won't tell how to fix it. But they will tell where to send it. "It is proporitary" which mean, they are the one to fix it. Sorry, stewbison.

The top burners work but the oven is not heating up

Hello, This is going to be a problem with your igniter/glow bar. Over time these get old and although you may see it glowing iit still may be bad. Your igniter should glow a brillient yellow and should ignite the gas within 15 seconds of the valve opening.

here is a link showing pictures of typical igniters.

My Xerox cpoier # 604P1837 is showing FaultCode # 062-380 How do I clear it & what does it mean?

I would think you could fix it by turning the machine off , disconnecting all the cables from the scanner and document feeder, then reconnecting them tightly. Turn back on, If not here is the info on the fault.
