The lights on my menu board("Print Photo", "Red Eye Removal", Power button and other lights) are constantly flashing. The menu screen is blank. I tried to unplug and replug and the menu screen shows HP and then an error message "C2FE0100" for a split second and then all the lights begin to flash again.Normally when I turn on the printer the ink cartridge begins to move. Now nothing happens except the lights start to flash. help?

Ok this is a very bad error message, it means major hardware failure inside the printer. Something internally (a management module as it's referred to) has completely failed. If you happened to purchase the unit with a major credit card (not a debit card) less than 5 years ago there is a good chance it may still be under the free extended warranty most credit cards place on electronics. Please contact your credit card company to inquire if they do this, and they will be able to file the claim and get you a refund for the device.

If you didn't, you are going to just want to look into replacing it, the repair is more than a new printed would cost. For example you could get this canon for $79 with free shipping and no tax:

Hi,

Follow the steps below to power cycle your all-in-one:

1. Shutdown your computer.
2. Verify that the unit is switched on. Unplug the all-in-one from power supply cord.
3.Wait for 30 seconds.
4. Plug in only the power supply cord. Ensure that the unit is connected directly to the power outlet bypassing the surge protector if any.

Partial reset
Press and hold # and 3 while plugging in the power cord.
Semi Full reset
Press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord.

Thank You

That's normal for all point and shoots when shooting babies. Either bring up the room lights, use the red-eye function with the flash, or use a photo editing program to remove the red-eye.

I pushed the power button and all I get is 5 buttons flashing (photo menu, print photos, red eye removal, power, and !.

Apparantly the power cable to the printer was not quite all the way in. Enough contact to get "lights", but not enough pins to work properly.
Thanks
