It sounds like the motor itself has a problem for sure, what aspect are you looking for help on? Do you want to rebuild the motor yourself? It is very difficult, nigh impossible if you've never rebuilt a small motor by hand before.
Thanks Tim

Sure thing, you are going to need to get one through a Bernina dealer, it is by far the best way to go that way you know for sure you are getting the right part. Believe it or not there are many counterfeit Bernina parts out there (they are the most prestigious sewing machine company around, many people try to copy them) so you want one that will definitely work with you machine.

The best way to find one would be to find your nearest dealer, which you can do by going here:

If you are pretty handy with tools in general it is pretty simple. However you may want to bring your machine in to that local shop and have them help you with it... many places will do this, hopefully they have some service man there that is friendly and can assist. But if you are handy I am sure you can get it. We you able to locate it, or have you not opened it up yet to look around?

    Thanks
    Tim

Have you cleaned the bobbin area and oiled the bobbin shuttle (consult manual)? Make sure there are no threads wrapped anywhere.

I have a Bernina B380 on the first stitch it sounds like metal hitting metal what's wrong.

If it is the very first stitch after the machine is turned on, then it's just the stepper motor for the feed dogs centering itself. This is normal for computerized machines. If it does it every time you start a new seam, then you are dealing with something different.

Marie Osmond emotions embroidery machine...how do i delete saved?

Check the tension. Bobbin tension. You need to use only Isacord thread. The cheap stuff will get caught and break the needle everytime.
YES you can delete designs. When the screen is up that is showing you what it is stitching. Click on grey box that pulls up everything you have ever stitched and click on one and then select delete.
