Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

Can't calibrate Sleep Tracker. It's registering movements and operating properly, as indicated by the tones. But it won't collect data and says it needs to be calibrated. Is there an end to calibration? I always click stop eventually. There doesn't seem to be a definitive end to the calibration process.

How do restart my tracker

When does my tracker reset and what happens to the previous day data

Your tracker resets your data to zero each night at midnight. For most trackers, your minute-to-minute data will be stored in your tracker for up to seven days without syncing. If you have a Fitbit Alta™ your minute-to-minute data is stored for up to five days. A daily summary of your activity is stored for up to 30 days.
Keep in mind that your calorie burn estimate will begin each night at midnight, so if you're up late and moving around, your tracker will adjust your calorie burn accordingly. Even if you are asleep at midnight, you will still see that you've burned some calories upon waking up in the morning. This is because you still burn calories even if you are sedentary or sleeping. Fitbit calculates your calorie burn based on information about your age, gender, height and weight.

How do I delete my info form the FitBit flex? I want to return my new flex to buy a FitBit Surge.

HOW DO I DELETE PROFILE DATA FROM MY TRACKER? Fitbit uses your height, weight, and age measurements to properly calculate your stride length (which helps determine your distance), calorie burn, and active minutes.

To delete your profile measurements from your tracker, the tracker must be set up to a different account. Once a tracker is set up to a different account, it will automatically unlink itself from the dashboard and all of the tracker's stored data will be permanently deleted from the tracker. You can find instructions on how to create a new account in the following articles:

Why and how does my fitbit flex go into "sleep mode?"

You can enter or leave the "Sleep mode" by tapping the Flex rapidly for 1-2 seconds. You'll feel a vibration and the LEDs will blink. (The blinks will depend on if you are entering or leaving sleep mode.) In this mode, the Fitbit Flex reduces the LED intensity and doesn't give alerts. Afterwards, it will provide some data about your sleep pattern - length, movement, waking up during the night. This can help you determine the quality of your sleep. (Note: it isn't a replacement for consulting a doctor if you always wake up tired.)

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(You can manually enter your sleep and wake times into the app without using "Sleep mode". Then the app will use the movement data from the Flex to determine sleep quality. However, LED lights (primarily blue frequencies) are known to reduce sleep quality so dimming them helps most people sleep better. The alerts will also interrupt your sleep and reduce the quality.)

I have purchased an fitbit one and it comes up with code 541 is ineligible for an account how can I make an account?

I had this happen to me. I had purchased this for my eleven year old son. I was putting in his information and ended up getting the Code 541. It turns out that federal law prevents this particular tracker from capturing data for anyone younger than 13. I fudged his birth year and ended up being able to successfully setup my tracker.

How do i connect my fitbit device to my verizon tablet.

Syncing Your Data

  • The Tracker will upload your data every 15 minutes provided you are within range of any plugged in base station (about 15 feet for direct line of sight), the computer is on and not in sleep or hibernate mode, the software is installed and running, and you have an active internet connection.
  • While out of range, the Tracker will look for a base station every minute until it syncs your data, after which it will wait 15 minutes before searching again.
  • You can see when the last successful sync occurred by viewing your main page at www.fitbit.com. Near your profile picture, you will see Synced with a time and date of your last sync.
  • If you want to force the Tracker to upload its data, place the Tracker on the base station.
  • While we recommend you sync your data regularly, the Tracker has the ability to store 7 days' worth of detailed, minute by minute data. It will store summary data (calories, distance, and steps) for the trailing 30 days. If you wait longer than 7 days before syncing, you will not see your minute by minute graphs (except on the most recent 7 days).
  • Your Tracker is able to sync from multiple computers, as long as each computer has the Fitbit software installed and a working base station is plugged in. You don't need to physically connect the devices. Simply down load the app and upload your info.

Magic jack phone contact # for assistance

No dial tone means you do not have a proper connection. Assuming your MJ is plugged into the USB port on your computer, it must Light Up to indicate it is making contact with the computer. You should get the KeyPad Control on you Computer Screen. Look at the top to see if your MJ Telephone number shows up. If not you are not connected. You may not be registered or paid up for the current period. Go on line to MagicJack.com and go to Support (Customer Services) for additional help.

Pinnacle stops when computer goes to sleep and stops rendering and making the movie

Just go to your power options in control panel, and set it so the computer doesn't go to sleep. Depending on your operating system just go to Start>Control Panel>Power options and then change system standby and hard disks to never turn off.
Thank you and take care,

I lost my owner's manual for my Casio SGW-100B. When I try to use the compass it asks me to please calibrate

Above link no longer valid. Here's the current one:
http://ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/wat/en/qw3157.pdf

Also, the key was inputting the correct #, in this case 3157 - NOT the 100B - at the following page:
http://world.casio.com/wat/download/en/manual/
I had almost given up when I looked again at the back of my watch and found the other number.
