JVC RX-8020V 5.1 Channels Receiver

Subwoofer-no output

posted by dgh88 on May 27, 2008

Yes, I already had all of these adjusted as follows:

Sub is showing under rt & lf front speakers, volume adjusted to +6, sub shows Yes, crossover set to 80 hz, & LFE att set 0 db. So I already had all of these covered to no avail. I finally decided to plug the sub into tape out on the receiver, & that works. I can only guess that Sub Out is not getting any power for some reason, If you have any other suggestion, I would be glad to try. It is just frustrating everything else is working fine. But at least I have a work-around, if nothing else.

Thanks, for your time & help,
dgh
