The lights inside the oven come on when we open the doors, and the time is displayed on the electronic digital display. When we press the cancel button we get one beep when we press any other button and stop pressing it-we hear two quick beeps. The electronic display doesent display anything other than the time

Well I got into the controls and the wire that connects the control buttons to the circuit board had a price tag on it indicative that maybe its been replaced since the original. We moved into the house 6 months ago and have no idea what the history of the oven was before that. However if that connection wire from buttons to circuit board has been replaced before is there anyway that a test can be run to see if that is the problem or something else.

This indicates the control unit for the oven has failed... You can replace the part yourself if you are very handy with appliances. What make / model do you have and I can point you to the new part.
Thanks Tim

And currently it does not work at all? No temperature settings work, correct? But all lights light up on the oven? And neither oven works?

    Thanks

Ok that is very bad indeed. It sounds like the control unit for the oven has failed. It's a pretty major undertaking to replace. Do you think you want to try and do the repair by yourself? I wouldn't recommend it..

Basically it is something major that has failed in the oven, there is no "setting" to get it back working.

You can try killing the power to the circuit the ovens are on and let it sit off for a good 10 minutes, then re-powering it up.

Let me know and I can keep going.

    Thanks

Unfortunately the only way to tell is with a new part :( If you buy it from that appliancepartspro.com that I recommended you can return it for free for a full refund if it ends up not being it. Many times they replace the parts with used parts, it wouldn't surprise me at all that it failed :(.

    Thanks

How to turn on electric frigidaire oven; fgf337gud?

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you want to know how to turn on the oven on your Frigidaire range, model# FGF337GUD. First, make sure you have set the clock. You will do this by pressing the "Clock Set" button and then press and hold down the up or down arrows, until the correct time shows. After you have set the clock, you are ready to turn your oven on.

To set the temperature for your oven, you will press the "Bake" button and three dashes will appear. Press the up and down arrows to change the temperature. Note: The temperature will begin at a default temperature of 350 degrees. Once you have released the up or down arrow, your oven will begin heating to the selected temperature. When your oven reaches the desired temperature, it will beep once.

To cancel the baking function, you will press the "Clear/Off" button.

If you wish to change the temperature after baking has begun, you will press the bake button again, and then change the temperature by pressing the up or down arrows to either increase or decrease the temperature.

I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your air conditioner status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

When I bake, my oven will start beeping and flash F2, what is that and how do I stop it?

Which manufacturer built your oven? The F2 error usually means that the oven temperature sensor is claiming the oven is too hot (or got too hot in the past). This usually requires replacing the temperature sensor. Sometimes, the control unit (clock) needs to be replaced.

I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the make and model of your oven for additional support.

Try pushing the "convection oven" or "bake" button first, then enter the temperature you want. Then "Start".

How do you recalibrate the oven temperature of a Whirlpool Accubake oven system

Hello,

To do that;
  1. Press BAKE

  2. Select a temperature of 550 or highest temp on some models its 500

  3. Quickly (within 5-seconds of setting 550) press and hold the BAKE button approximately 5-15 seconds until "00" or the previously entered temperature adjustment is displayed.

Pressing longer could cause an F0, F1 or F7 error to be displayed.

  4. Press the UP/DOWN arrow button or turn the set knob to change the oven temperature in 5° increments to a maximum of +/- 35°

  5. Press the CLEAR or OFF button to return to normal operation.

Shortly after pressing the Bake button it starts beeping and F3 shows on screen. In the past, it would do this a couple times and then begin to heat and be fine. Othertimes, it would just stop cooking in...

F3 error code is telling you the oven temperature sensor has failed on the oven. You can access the oven sensor from inside the oven. The sensor is a stainless steel probe about 1/4 inch in diameter and several inches long. Disconnect the power to the oven and remove the screws that secure the probe to the rear oven wall and you can usually pull it into the oven.

Whirlpool oven issue

Usually, when an oven won't bake, it's because the bake element is burned out. The bake element is the black, pencil- thick tube at the bottom of the oven. When the oven heats, the element glows red. This element has an expected life-span of several years. It may last for only one; it may last for many more. When the element burns out, you need to replace it.
