16 gig fm ipod nano

Hello, I have the 16 gig ipod nano with fm and voice recorder. It won't play anything but the fm radio.

Whenever I try to access the music or movies it says "Disk error!"

You probably got sold a fake chinese ipod. As there is no 16gb nano. I had a fake 2gb 2gen ipod nano, it had those features and the disk error. LOL

Recently I brought a Nanomax Ipod from Dubai. I connected it to my pc with USB but nothing happened . I want to load some audio files but am unable to do it. Kindly help me.

I think none of you read the question well and rushed to answer it.

The Nano Max Ipod the person is talking about is actually a duplicate model of the original that is available in Dubai. It is a MP4 player with FM RADIO and Voice recorder.

My girlfriend bought the same and now i am puzzled on how to operate it. Device Manager shows it as an "unknown device". Pls Help!!

Ipod [?] mp3/mp4 player - lsd_9301_10

This player sounds thoroughly corrupt - if the 5 R's didn't work, then the only last thing you can try (probably won't work) is to insert he iPod, double-click on my computer, right-click ipod logo, and select Format - Fat32 (warning: this for PC's onlt, not MAC's).

ok lamar230990 to turn your mp3 player to msc mode disconnect it from the computer and turn it on. once it is on go to settings and scroll down to protocol and click on it with the play/pause button. this should turn it to msc mode then connect back in to the computer and go to this site to download the software www.rcaaudiovideo.com

What generation nano do I have?

I don't know it by model number but the generation are easy to define.
A first generation nano is either black or white.  It is made out of the same material as a standard Ipod at the time.  Comes in 1 gig and 2 gig only
A second generation nano is multi colored and made from a metal case.  Similar in design to a mini.  The edges are round as well. comes in 2 gig and 4 gig.
A third generation nano is a different size than 1 and 2.  it has a bigger screen on it.  Can play videos as well.  Comes in 2 gig, 4 gig, and 8 gig as well.

Doesnt do anything,but radio

Hi,
backup the drive and all folders to your PC.
Then try Formating the Drive. create new folders, i.e music et,c.
** Please note:- The Chinese have very sneaky ways, of making these look bigger in size, than they actually are.
So if you,ve got a 4 gig, and when formatted becomes a 2 Gig.
Thats the true memory storage size.
Try this you guys, good luck.
