Question about Kenmore Elite HE4 Electric Dryer
I am installing a new electronic control board in my dryer and when I went to hook up the wires to the heater sockets, I cannot remember which one houses the red and black wires. How can I tell which one go where? I have a 50/50 chance of getting it right, but if I guess wrong....
Please help! Thank you so much.
there should be 2 clips you kind of press and then it should pull off. if not look to see if there is a leg that also go's into the bord if so you need to move it in to reles it from the bord and then it should pull off.

did you check the outlet got 240 volts? if you did and your not getting that at the heater it could be the board or the motor if the switch in the motor is bad it wont send power have you found the tech sheet? that will give you how to test it but if you think swapping parts is OK then you need to go buy a multimeter so you can find the faulty part

The green wire attaches to the dryer cabinet. There should be a green screw in the cabinet for attaching the wire. If not, you can always drill a hole for a ground screw.
The loose green wire you see is the reason the code was changed to a 4-wire cord.
