On a kenmore 5 burner grill when lighting the fourth burner all of the grill shuts down, regardless of which is the fourth burner?

Sounds like the pressure regulator is malfunctioning. Try disconnecting your gas line. Open/Close all burners then reconnecting gas. If propane, don't turn bottle off before burners. Always turn burners off first, then bottle. then bottle on before burners. This primes the regulator to the proper pressure.

Hello My side burner is leaking gas. I can hear the gas flowing even thought the knob is in the off position. But it doesn't click like all the other burners. Eddie

If the gas you hear is coming from the burner, rather than the side burner gas supply hos, the control knob may be stuck in the "IN" position. Turn the gas tank OFF, before attempting any repairs and disconnect the hose from the tank.

Now that there is no pressure on the side burner control knob, try using it as you normally would. What you're looking for is full function of the knob. Push it it and turn it to the light position. Does the knob pop back out when you release it? If it does, that's a good sign. If memory service me correctly, the gas supply line to the side burner as a quick connect on the hose to connect it to the burner. if so, disconnect and reconnect it to the burner. Does the quick connect slide back into place and connect properly? If not, that is what's leaking. But, to make sure, there needs to be gas going to the grill. Reconnect the hose to the tank and open the tank valve VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow). Once the valve is fully open, test the side burner hose connection and the hose (squirrels like to chew on the hose) by brushing on a soap & water solution to check for leaks. If you see bubbles that grow in size, that's a leak. Turn the gas tank back OFF. The side burner hose will need to be replaced.

If there were no leaks on the connection, check the burner knob for operation. Does it operate like it should with no smell of leaking gas? If not, the control knob valve will need to be replaced.

The parts you may need can be purchased from Ducane Customer Service 1-800-382-2637.

I hope this helps you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

BBQ galore Turbo 3-burner grill doe not receive gas from propane tank after working fine the day prior. Tried the "disconnect tank and open burners, then burners off and reconnect tank" approach...

Glad to hear you tried the things that have been recommended. However, if you DID NOT open the tank valve VERY, VERY, SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow), there's the problem. Try it all over again, and this time open the tank valve, as I just described. Also, allow 5 minutes before reconnecting it to the tank.

If this doesn't solve the problem, you will need to purchase a new Regulator/Hose Assembly, as yours appears to be permanently locked up. They run about $30.00 at any home center or hardware store that sells gas grills and accessories. Take you old one with you for comparison purposes. After you install the new one, remember to always turn the gas valve ON very, very, slowly.

Hope this helped you and Happy Grilling.

We are not getting a full flame. We have enough propane.

This is a common occurrence when occasionally, you can get moisture inside the line, decreasing the gas flow to the burners. A simple cure is to disconnect the line, turn the burners on very low and reconnect the propane line to the burners. This should expel any moisture you had in the line. Once reconnected, turn the burners to the IGNITE setting and light.

Since your grill only has one main burner and it requires more gas to heat with than the side burner. I still suspect you have a grill regulator issue. But, if you've done your research, you know it's easy to solve. Turn the propane tank valve OFF. Disconnect the hose from the tank valve and wait at least 5 minutes before reconnecting it. Once it has been reconnected, turn the tank valve on VERY, VERY SLOWLY (slow motion, slow). Once the tank valve is fully open, turn your main burner on, light it and turn it to high. Do the flames appear to be higher than before? If so, light and turn ON the Side Burner. Now do all the burner flames appear to be higher than before? If so, you solved the problem. If not, either the grillhose/regulator assembly needs to be replaced or the Venturi Valve on the main burner needs some adjusting. As the air to gas ratio may be off sightly.

Hope this helps to solve your problem and Happy Grilling!

Glad you saw the troubleshooting part concerning the regulator, but unless you turned the tank valve on VERY, VERY SLOWLY (slow motion, slow) after reconnecting the hose. That's the problem. The hose should remain disconnected for 5 minutes, before reconnecting. As the regulator needs time to reset itself. If that doesn't solve the problem, be sure the propane tank has enough gas to supply all the burners properly.

Hope this helps to get you up and grilling.

Then turn all burners off, turn off the natural gas supply or remove the LP tank. turn all the burners on (don't try to light) wait a couple seconds turn all burners off. reconnect gas source. turn on gas, open burners fully and try to light.

COMPUTER NOT READING IT, NOT BEING RECOGNIZED BY COMPUTER

Turn your computer off, and unplug the AC power.

Open up your computer, and unplug the "data" and "power" cables from the DVD-drive, and then reconnect them. Check that the "other" end of the "data" cable is firmly attached to the motherboard.

Reconnect the power, and restart the computer.
Press DEL to enter BIOS-setup mode.
Is the DVD-drive still not detected?

If it is not detected, it probably is electronically "dead", and needs to be replaced.
