Question about SMC EZ Connect g SMC2862W-G 802.11g/b Wireless Adapter
I have tried to reinstall smc drivers - and when I click on the wireless network I have on linksys it asks for network key and confirmation. The linksys key is 8 letters, but the smc asks for at least 10 letters - what the heck is that?
It's the particular type of security you've got set up. Some formats of security require the key to be between a minimum and maximum number of characters, some require it to be a set number of characters. If you have problems, reset the router using the reset button on the back, and run the setup again.
