Hello! I have an issue with my maytag dishwasher model number MDB6100AWQ. It is running, and it goes to drain, and slowly starts leaking onto my kitchen floor! We took it out about a year ago and...

check the door gasket. check that it is draining. disconnect drain line from under sink ad put into a bucket. most likely it isn't draining ad is overflowing.

How can I turn up the water level in the dishwasher?

Typically, you cannot and you shouldn't try. If you block the over flow, you will have a mess on your floor like you cant imagine.

If you are having trouble with the cleaning operation ... start with hot water at your kitchen sink before you turn on the dish washer ... Use a good quality automatic dishwasher product recommended by the maufacturer.

When running my dishwasher it overflows and leaks out onto my kitchen floor. Had a plumber in and identified that this issue is not with the plumbing as there are no other issues to the sink.

sounds like you should check the rubber gasket around the door. if it is torn or ripped it will leak. hope this helps.also make sure where the rubber meets when you close the door that it is al clean from dirt and grim. have a nice day

I found this

"Hi - answer I was given by Electrolux Help was: pull machine out from under bench onto old towel, tip GENTLY onto left hand side (your left as you face the front of the machine) after it has drained, stand up gently, put back & turn on. Apparently it is the overflow trough reading as full ('oF' Overflow). Then run through some dishwasher descaler or Finish dishwasher cleaner. Worked for me."

No Water entering machine

What is the make and model number of this diswasher?
Without that specific info, I would first check the water inlet valve for a failure.

Frigidare FRS23KF6CB manufactured 03/07 ice maker water fill wont shut off

There is a float in the icemaker which controls water height. I'm going to bet the float is jammed or the switch it controls is bad.

You have a restricted drain in your sink, not the dishwasher. Water is unable to go down drain fast enough and is backing up.

Water won't fill

when facing the dw pull it out from under counter and on the left side there is a panel held on with 2 screws. take that off and under there are the float switches for the overflow. those switches is what causes the pump to run all the time but do nothing else.
