Did a bit of research, found your cable for $50 at one cable site. Since I manufactured computer cables at one time I know that they only cost about .34 cents in Tai Pei so follow this link and pay just a few dollars more than cost:
Hello walchell, Welcome, and thank you for using FixYa! To answer your question: HDMI Audio Output is part of your Digital Output package. Try turning up the Digital Output. If you are not hearing sound to your TV from your PC or DVR while connected to the HDMI cable, it is likely that you have purchased a cheaper HDMI cable that only provides video out. A high quality HDMI cable cost close to $35.00 for both outputs. Have a great day!
First you need to decide what type of broadband service you require and these are - 1. DSL which uses your existing telephone line. 2. Cable which uses a cable service and can include a cable TV service. 3. A wireless 3G network which uses the mobile/cell phone service and can be separate or combine with your cell phone account Note - combined services generally offer discount pricing and may include a modem/wireless router.
If you use a wireless router with the DSL or Cable Internet service and your laptop has a wireless card then you can also connect to the Internet at WiFi hot spots like McDonalds, Star Bucks, the Airport etc. If you use the wireless 3G wireless network, then you can access the Internet anywhere where your ISP has 3G wireless coverage. You need to check the service coverage area where you need Internet service.
Once you decide what type of broadband your require, then you need to check with the various Internet Service providers to see if they can offer and the cost of the various plans. Note the download limits and the associates additional cost if you exceed the monthly download limits.
Once you sign up with a Internet Service provider, their documentation will include setting up instructions and/or installation CD.
