Question about HP Photosmart C6380 All-In-One InkJet Printer

My hp 6300 does not print. I says I have 2 items in the queue and one of them is printing - it is not. I tried to delete the items in the queue and it just keeping saying deleting but it never does. Can you help?

OK try this goto the HP website and click on support and drivers.
Select download drivers and software and in the blank box enter c6380 and click on enter on your keyboard.
Select your operating system and click on the next button.
Now look for the main option that says Utility - Diagnostic Tools and download the Print Diagnostic Utility it should diagnose and fix your problems if it does I would appreciate a 4 thumbs up.
If it doesn't please make sure u haven't updated ur operating system cauz if u have then you would need to uninstall the old printer drivers and re-install fresh drivers.

If you have tried some of the above options and it didn't correct the issue then your print job is hung in your queue. Open Printers and Faxes and double click the printer in question. You will see a queue that most likely has a job there trying to print. Right click on the line item and select cancel. Most times it will it delete quickly so I wait a minute or so and if it still doesn't clear just reboot the PC while the job says deleting. Once it's back up and running go back to Printers and Faxes and double click the printer again a day make sure the queue is empty. Lots of times when a job is hung there many other jobs piled behind so they all need to be cleared out before you try printing again. Good luck

So far answers don't coincide with the directions I've been given, which is "Press the WSB Button for 5 seconds."

The print queue is what is locked up. Try deleting the items in the print queue.
Start by pausing the print queue. Then delete the items in the queue one by one.
When you have the last print job in the queue it will probably be jammed up in the transition between the computer and printer. Switch off the printer. This should cause the printer on the computer to become offline.
Try deleting this job abain. If it dissapears then turn the printer back on making sure the computer understands the printer is back online. Then try printing again.
If it does not dissapear then you will need to restart the computer to free up this job. When the computer is back up and running check the print queue again. If the job is gone then turn the printer back on and try printing again. If it is not gone then try once again to delete the print job and it should dissapear this time.
Once the job is gone and the print queue is empty turn the printer back on and make sure the computer understands it is back online again.

This is a printer queue error. Go into your printer icon and select properties. You will see an item "check what's printing" click on this and it will take you to the print queue. Highlight each item and right click and delete.

Only scans not print anything

did you download the software and/or drivers necessary for your printer on your computer before connecting the usb cable from the printer to the pc? You can get the software necessary to use your printer for free at hp's website

If you have the software and its still not printing, try clearing documents out of your print queue. Click on the arrow next to the clock on your screen and find the picture of the printer. Right click with your mouse on the picture of the printer and open the print queue. Delete any unprinted items in this area and close the print queue. then try a test page.

Document stuck in queue and will not delete or print.

Its a common problem. All you have to do is to restart the Print Spooler service and delete the print queue. To restart the service follow the steps: Open Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services. Now find service named "Print Spooler" and right click over it and select "Restart" to restart the service.
Now open the "Printers and Faxes" folder and try to delete the print queue. Now you will be able to delete the print queue. If applicable you can follow the steps once again if any print queue refuse to get deleted.
Once the print queue is empty, you can print from your printer smoothly.

Item won't cancel out of print queue. How do I

I have run in to this more times then I would care to count. Unfortunately, what worked one time did not necessarily work on a different computer and sometimes even on the same one. If, after several reboots, the problem still exists, disconnect the printer from the computer. Try again and reboot one more time and try.
If that fails, make sure you have the cd with the drivers or go to HP's website and make sure they are available.
Delete the printer! Reboot 2 times.
At this point, the queue should be gone. Reinstall the printer, reattaching it when asked.

Can not are held in queue

go to administrative tools THEN SELECT SERVICES. STOP THE PRINT SPOOLER SERVICE. then see if the item is still in the print queue.. if so delete it .. but I think it'll go away when you stop the service. when it does.. restart the print spooler

I had problem with dymo, so we printed receipt thru other printer and now got dymo fixed, so i tried to print, but it's not printing, i looked in printer que, there's some printing items that i cann't get...


right click the items in print queue and delete them. You have to wait a few secs before the print queue is clear. You can also try to reprint the same thing by right clicking the item in print queue.

Follow these steps to resolve the issue. Step one: Delete the print queue Open Print Setup Utility located in the Application/Utilities folder. Double-click your printer in the printer list to open the print queue. Click the Stop Jobs icon. Click to select the document, and then click the Delete icon. Repeat the steps for all the jobs in the print queue. When the print queue is empty, click the Start Jobs icon. A message appears: No Jobs Printing . This indicates that the queue is clear. When you have cleared the queue, retry your print job. If the procedure has not resolved the issue, repeat steps 3 and 4. If the issue still persists, continue to the next step. Step two: Remove the printer from the list Open Print Setup Utility , located in the Application/Utilities folder. Click to select the Photosmart icon. Click the red X to delete the printer from your system. Close all open windows, and restart your computer. Step three: Add the printer to the list Open Print Setup Utility located in the Application/Utilities folder. Click Add . Select the printer that you want to add, and click the Add button. After a few seconds, your printer appears in the printer list, and your printer is ready to print.
