A common way to access the washer workings is here. Remove the screws at the bottom of the front panel, pull the bottom of the panel out to release it from the top. Remove two screws just inside the top front of the top panel and the top will tilt back. Many times a leak can be traced to the pump, the pump is a common trouble maker. Center seals ( middle under outer tank ) is another common trouble maker. See how to take apart.
sometimes the belt does not slip correctly and the inner basket spins too quickly and some of the water is thrown up and over the tank cover. Many times a new belt and idler pulley is required to correct this, motor pulley is cleaned and the tank cover cover gasket is sometimes needed to be replaced.
Some leaks can be traced to a bad tub seal.... Center seal replacement repair aid. for the 356P3 seal kit.
There is a sediment tube on the wash basket. This sediment tube becomes brittle over the years and can break. This will cause water leakage into the outer tub during the wash mode. Since the pump is turning all the time the washer is running, the water will be pumped out too soon. The tube can also become loose and clang around during the spin mode causing a noise problem.

Washing machine leaking underneath

might simply be a small hole in the outlet drainage hose, this would explain why your machine leaks during the final spin, there is more pressure from the water inside the hose during the final spin than when the machine is draining. hope this helps.

empty the washer. then remove the bottom panel of the machine.put some water in it and see if the water is leaking when it is filling or full.I have seen a small hole in the tub just behind the bottom counter balance where the mounting bolt goes you may need to use a small mirror to look under there.f94b104.jpg

Leaking water from bottom

Hello there:
If the washer leaks all the time, check these: Hot and cold water fill hoses - Check the hot and cold water hoses from the household plumbing. If either hose is leaking, tighten it or replace it, as appropriate. Main tub seal - The main tub seal is located between the transmission and the outer tub. It's the primary water seal in the outer tub for the transmission-shaft entry point. If this seal leaks, you can see the leak by opening up the machine's main access panel while the machine is full of water with a small amount of detergent in it. The leak appears at the underside of the outer tub, at or near the center. This seal is difficult to replace. You probably should call a qualified appliance repair technician. Pump - If the pump leaks, you can probably spot the leak when the tub is full of water. The pump has two or more black rubber or plastic hoses attached to it and usually has a drive belt that spins the pump. If the pump is leaking, you need to replace it. Outer tub - Over time, the steel or plastic outer tubs can rust, split, or be punctured. If this happens, you may have to replace the entire outer tub-

Frigidaire front load washer GLTF1240AS0 - noisy and leaves dirt/oil on clothes in dotted pattern (so dirt being put on thru drum at final spin?). Could it be oil leak? bearing?

good call.....
your bearing is leaking into the machine
you can verify this by simply removing the back
if the side walls are covered in ablack spray pattern
sometimes it does not leak on both sides (in and out) but if it is leaking your machine will get progressive louder in both aggitate and spin

Washer leaking

bestsy, your pump could be weeping. Sometimes they will develope a small leak and sometimes they let loose. They are easy to change, 2 clips and 2 clamps. Check out the photo, other things to check would be the hoses at the fill valve and the drain hose. Sometimes overloading will cause an oversplash. Catriver..post back.
