Not all lines are the same. Some brands of line are brittle or can become so with age and will break. Also it may depend on if you are trimming near rocks, fence, etc. Typically the standard round line, not square or star shaped, has a decent life. Perhaps look for some that is "extended life" line.

I just had my brakes changed on my 2006 passat. Now the electronic parking break sensor won't stop beeping but everything works. How can I get the fault to go away so It will stop beeping


also if u take battery off for 10 mins, hook battery back up again, turn car on, hold in break paddle for 35 seconds, then still holding in break paddle hold in handbrake button for 10 seconds, release all and start car up, press break button a few times, turn car off again take out key, lock and open car then press break button again and now all should b back to normal

String breaks in a few seconds. Change spool no help. New 0.80 green string no help. What else?


The hole where the line comes through the plastic spool should have a metal grommet in it. If the hole is just plastic, then the line rubs against it and the heat cannot dissipate, so the line gets hot and melts.

Fuel line keeps stallingoit after a few seconds


By your question, I assume that the fuel line runs dry after the engine runs a few seconds. The first thing to check is for a plugged fuel filter in the tank and the condition of the connecting fuel lines for rot, hardness, or cracking. If the machine has a primer bulb, does it pump fuel into it after several pumps? Remove the line from the primer that goes back to the tank to make sure it is pumping fuel from the carburetor only. If you replaced any lines, they may have been reconnected incorrectly. Hope this answers your question!

You have a bad caliber are the break booster is trying to go out but first check the line's for any type of wetness on the line's are take it to a shop anbd they can check them for you cause it can also be a bad break line

Rear brakes have no pedal pressure. If you pump them they work. Brake fluid reservoir is full. 2005 sportsman 700 efi


check for leaks, if not try discharge a few break fluid,small crackly open discharge port,push breaks....purging of small amount of fluid...there might be an air in the fluid line till you feel some heavy on the breaks then close the discharge port, testing...

1992 continental, car hesitates while driving, has raw fuel smell in cab, replaced coil and wires, new fuel filter, good fuel but still does the same. 3.8 engine. put pan down but no leaks.


This may or may not fix the car but here is a list of things that should help you out:

1 - go to Radio Shack and get a spray can of electrical contact cleaner. Unplug all the electrical connectors underhood, spray them with the cleaner, allow them to air-dry for 20 minutes or so, and plug them back in.

2 - change the spark plugs

3 - get two cans of Seafoam at the auto parts store. Pour one can in the gas tank and fill up on top of it. Pour half of the second can in the oil, and change the oil and filter about 100 miles later. Pour the other half into a coffee mug (one you don't plan to reuse) and get a few feet of vacuum or fuel hose at the parts store. Unplug a vacuum line from the intake manifold (shouldn't matter which one, as long as you can feel suction either on the hose or on the manifold nipple it was attached to, when the car is running). Start the car, and use the vacuum line to **** the Seafoam up into the engine. You'll want a second person in the car, holding it at about 2000 RPM (it'll want to buck and stall as it sucks up the Seafoam). Once it's been sucked up, let it run for another 10 seconds, then shut it down for 15 minutes so it can soak inside the vacuum system of the engine (this is to break down carbon deposits). After that time, start the car. It'll smoke like crazy and may run rough for a few seconds - this is normal and will stop shortly. Let it keep running for 30 minutes or so, revving it up here and there. The smoke will eventually dissipate.

By putting the Seafoam into the oil, you break down sludge in the oiling system. 100 miles of driving is more than enough for it to do its job. Change the oil and filter afterward so you're running on fresh oil. By putting it in the gas tank, you take moisture/condensation out of the fuel system, you'll clean the lines and pump, clean the injectors, and even break down carbon deposits on the valves and in the domes of the combustion chambers. By sucking it into the vacuum system via the manifold, you allow it to circulate throughout the "air" portions of the engine, breaking down carbon and combustion deposits that could be causing your rough running.

could be a few things causing these problems make sure you check all the pulleys have no defects like small chips cracks or dents cus the this tends to cause belts breaking make sure the belts are not to tight or too lose this can cause problems if somethings out of line it will tend to throw your belt off not break

How to bleed a 89 pajero that has run out of diesal


You have to crack the injectors, or loosen the fuel line going into each injectors. Then have someone help you by turning the motor over, letting fuel and air bleed out around the fitting that you loosen at the injectors. You will see air & fuel start spraying out around the point of breaking the lines. When you see a good flow of fuel. Tighten everyting back up tight. It should run ruff for a few seconds. Then you should be back to normal.
