According to the Comfort Glow Website, this is a Natural Gas unit. If you use propane you will need
a minumum 100# LP Cylinder and a pressure regulator. I have a Comfort Glow unit and went through the same process.
If you have it hooked up to a 30lb cylinder without a regulator I would think that if you purged the gas line
of air you should be able to light the pilot.
On a new unit you can expect to push the spark ignitor button at least a dozen times while holding
down the gas valve button.
sounds like an obstruction in pilot assembly.try using canned compressed air to blow directly into pilot. this technique is successful about 70%. if not,pilot assembly must be removed and cleaned thorougly
it is likely you have dirty O2sensor, it is incorporated into pilot assembly.turn unit off,use compressed air in a can and blow into spot where pilot flames comes from.this will fix it in most cases.in a small % of time entire pilot assembly needs to be taken apart and cleaned
