HELP!! I bought software to fix the "blue screen of "death", the software runs but the solutions to choose from were'nt any of mine my system keeps popping back to the same all blank, blue screen except for the message at the top that reads: STOP: c0000021a [FATAL SYSTEM ERROR} THE WINDOWS LOGON PROCESS SYSTEM PROCESS TERMINATED UNEXPECTEDLY WITH A STATUS OF 0X0000005 (0X00000000 0X00000000). THE SYSTEM HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN i'm sending this email from a laptop the problem computer is a desktop running WINXP. It all started with that Security Suite alert about some fake virus threat from antivircat, which i now hear is a MalWare system and when I phoned to yell at them they only tried to sell me their $199 software to fix it (which they caused) I refused and purchased SpotMau Emergency Kit to repair windows ($39) but the selections of problems to fix on the software don't list "blue screen" errors. ??????????

You either have "hardware" problems (e.g., a bad spot on the disk-drive, or some bad bits on the RAM or leaking capacitors on the computer's motherboard), that cause the boot-up of Windows to fail, or you have "software" problems (the installed copy of Windows has been corrupted) preventing the boot-up of Windows from completing normally.

So, if your disk-drive has at least 2GB of "free" disk-space, you might be able to re-install Windows, but choosing to install Windows to any folder *OTHER* than 'C:\WINDOWS'.
If this "parallel" install works, then you will have access to all your files.

Or, take your computer to a qualified technician for hardware and software trouble-shooting.
