You have to keep triggering the cutters until the top teeth and bottom teeth are halfway in between each other. Clamp the blades in a vise and HAND SHARPEN WITH A FILE.

Craftsman DGS 6500 with Kohler engine won't do anything when I try to turn it over.

IS THERE IS ENOUGH OIL IN THE OILCARTER ? IS THERE A CLOGGED AIRFILTER ? OR DIRT IN THE FUEL FILTER LINE CARBURETOR FLOATCHAMBER NOZZLE ?
IF THE SPARKPLUG REMOVED AND FITTED IN THE PLUGCAP AND IF YOU START AND PULL THE TRIGGER HOLDING THE SPARKPLUG AGAINST A METAL PART .LOOK ALSO FOR A NICE BETWEEN WHITE- AND CHOIRS BLUE COLORED SPARK. IF ITS RED REPLACE THE SPARKPLUG IF ITS STILL RED OR DOES NOT SPARK REPLACE THE IGNITION COIL.

I'm trying to attach a Model# LST42 snowblower to a 26hp Craftsman riding mower. Was wondering if you had a manual for the installation & where i could get it

Here is the manual for the snowblower; http://www.odref.com/agri-fab/SnowThrowers/LST42.pdf
You may want to call Agri-Fab at (800) 448-9282 first to make sure your snowblower has the correct brackets to fit the Craftsman tractor.
Have the numbers off the snowblower nameplate and the model number of your tractor (it's under the seat)

VL800 stalls when hot ? Could it just be the winter gas?

No. Fuel is a constant. The air is what changes. Carburettor jetting (carby's in general) are a compromise between too little and too much fuel from idle to full revs. when cruising or under load, or when engine is still cold or hotter than optimum. The size of jetting and sparkplug type are your options if top end timing and clearances are fully serviecd. Your manual or dealer is the best avenue for this. Check condition of sparkplugs and their gaps and service air filter(s).
Cheers.

Cultvator is not starting as we pull start

I take it this is the first cranking this season. The most probable cause is stale fuel. Never ever store fuel in a small engine over the winter. Now, the bad fuel has most probably fouled the sparkplug, so you need both fresh fuel AND a NEW sparkplug.

Your carb is going to be gummed up, but if you'll get the high priced fuel with the "cleaners" (like Chevron with Techron) it may save you the trouble of disassembling the carb.
