Hi Curtis

This a hard to find item... if you are quick, you can get one here or here

Only other place I could find one to do the job for you... was rated at 1 amp, and cost $213.00 !!

Thanks for using FixYa, If you consider the advice I have given you as sound, a FixYa rating is a great reward for my efforts to help you. Cheers.

My remote speaker system works with the batteries but not with the AC adaptor plugged in to the speaker.

I would suggest to check AC outlet first where adaptor is pluged in,if Ok measure output voltage from adaptor to see if there is any (using any voltage multimeter with AC/DC)
Check label on adaptor shold be writen AC or DC output ,and value 3V,6,9,12,24,48 etc...
If adaptor is ok then problem is power jack mounted in to the speaker (cold solder joints' or damage)

I have a Prolink wireless 900 Mgh wireless speaker system. I have just moved and have lost the plug in adapter for the transmitter. could you tell me what the adapter voltage is into the transmitter. ...

I have Prolink 900 MHz wireless loudspeakers, probably the same as yours. The transmitter is labelled on the bottom as "CAN 2579 102 1811, UNI-ART PRECISE PRODUCTS LTD". That transmitter comes with an AC/DC adapter whose output is labelled as 12VDC, 300mA, with polarity positive outside, negative inside. Note this polarity is the OPPOSITE of what is typical for AC adapters.

How can i make a simple wireless speaker ?

There isn't anything too simple about wireless communications. First you need a transmitter. Your headphone output would be a likely source for your transmitter. Once you have that in place you will need a receiver of the same operating frequency as your transmitter. The receiver will demodulate the signal and you will be left with a low voltage audio signal which would then need to be amplified. Amplifier power gain would be dependent upon a few things. Size of speaker, output power desired etc etc. All in all it would be cheaper to buy one. Good Luck!

it comes with a transmitter. so put batteries in the transmitter and plug the included (white) audio plug in the back of the transmitter, (the hole that says direct input), turn transmitter on. Plug free end of audio cord into headphones jack on ur computer. put batteries in the speaker or plug it in to wall and push power button. push reset button on front of speaker and it should work. start playing music

Have not found a solution. I purchased a few sets the ones that are working give us wonderful service. We are both hard of hearingand would like to have extra units available. so i can't really say what the trouble is with additional speakers It's impossible to find a shop that will repair them or canI find it easier to purchase used speakers on e=bay.
If possible i'd like to get or buy a schematic. So far no luck. Would like use your service but i'm not sure if it would help me Thank you for your time. Morris Kurman

Buzzing noize

Have you tried using a different power adaptor? I have noticed with mine that the as the original failed there was a noticeable hum, a new power supply (of reasonable quality) solved the problem.
