With your printer, it's not possible to simply unlock and pull out the fuser unit, but to clear the paper jam inside or near the fuser unit, you have to access from the front.
Open the front access door, pull out the toner cartridge and the drum, then you'll be able to see-through the passage upto the Fuser unit. From there you can pull out any obstructions or broken paper stuck beside or inside the compartment. To remove your fuser, you'll need to remove the screws (there should be two screws,). But this is not included in the troubleshooting measures, you can still remove the jammed paper from the front access door. If you don't know how to disassemble the machine, I wouldn't recommend you do it yourself, rather call a friend or other guy who has a little disassembling laser printer and help you fix it. Please note that fuser unit is very hot and you can only access it after the printer is kept off for at least 30 minutes, if done without proper precaution, you may damage the fuser unit (I hope you understand the contraction and expansion of an object when heated and cooled).
Removing fuser in a Dell printer (all almost dell printers) requires at least 4 screws to be removed and it's also in two steps, one before you reach the unit i.e. removing the cover and next, after removing the cover. It's fitted inside the compartment which is not accessible like Hp or other laser printers.
If you need further help, let me know.
Good luck.
