No oil ever. The first thing you should do it try another toner cartridge. Squeeks are very hard to pinpoint. Thank you, Steven 805-520-3003

The first 6 copies print quickly, then it goess to "slow motion" for rest of print job. How can I get the printer to print at the same speed

My guess would be that the quick printing at first is because the print job get spooled into a buffer and when the buffer is full the print job starts. The printer begins printing and using the buffer data as the computer continues to process the job and supply the buffer. At some point the buffer gets empty and the printer is waiting on the computer for more data, causing the slowdown. This rarely happens anymore, unless you have a very old printer or very old computer, as most printers have a rather large internal buffer memory. You may be experiencing issues with connectivity if the printer is being used wirelessly. Check to ensure that the wireless signal is strong to ensure maximum data throughput capability.

Hello, I am using the Magicard Tango 2e. I

Hi Mahom -
It sounds like your printing software has sent the print-job to the Windows print-queue as a single job. Because it didn't complete originally, and then you reset the printer (power-off), it has now lost track of where it was and will only start at the beginning of the job again. Best thing to do is unplug the printer again; cancel any pending jobs in the Windows print queue for the Tango printer; then re-print job EXCEPT for the cards already printed.

Xerox Phaser 4510 - While printing it makes a squeaking noise

One of two things. The fuser bearings get noisy in those.
Or there are several small hard plastic rollers on steel shafts or even mounted on springs they they can get very noisy.

Printer is printing foreign looking characters all on its own. No print jobs are being sent to the printer. Printer is set to DEC mode and the macro has been reloaded several times. As soon as you put the...

It sounds like data is being received by the printer from an outside source.
Try disconnecting the printer from the computer system so it is a free standing printer. Power the printer ON and put in ONLINE if you do not get strange characters printing the print job is definitely from the computer system some place.

If you do not get the print jobs printing when the printer is disconnected from the computer system, it could be that the print jobs are being sent from the wrong driver or print queue on the system, you may need to try to identify who is sending the rogue print jobs.

Printing fades during the print job. Dark at beginning, gets lighter to unreadable.

Is the ink cart. good? If not, replace.
Are the Print Heads cleaned? If not, run the diag to clean.
Does this happen on all print jobs? (documents, images, etc..)
If not, then try to adjust the properties of the print driver to a lesser quality.
Sending higher quality print jobs takes up memory, try to increase your page file.
