aye, see if you can enter the diagnosis mode. What we are looking for is the F-02 code. This will flash when there is a stuck button or user interface problem and only displayed in the test mode. With the unit plugged in and all indicator lights off, select any button except stop. Press for 3 seconds, release for 3 seconds, press for 3 seconds, release for 3 secnds and press for 3 seconds. If you did it right 88 should appear. Press the same button again and if there is a error, it should show up. If no error code shows, open the consol and check the p-5 connector. This will be the interface ribbon to the board. Reseat it and see if the problem stops. Catriver

The Kenmore HE2 model numbers 8757 and 8758 are the beepers. Everything comes on as normal. You press the start button and it beeps several times and then beeps again, again, and again. It will not start or turn at all. I did notice the drum light was blown. I have not replaced it yet, but could something so simple be the problem?

What happens is that the door switch gets turned inside. I just took mine apart because of the same problems listed. The switch has a tab inside that has to make contact with the internal switch. I pulled mine apart and turned it so it made contact...put it back together and it works fine now. After doing all that it seems like you could turn the swith from the outside a quarter turn with a pair of pliers and accomplish the same thing.
