New batteries won't charge

it needs service,
if the charge circuits fail, it needs to be repaired.
do know the charge chip is on the MOBO. so , not easy to fix.

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/

the full service manual is at HP, why ask here. we are not HP.

here it all is. see guides?

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-G60-200-Notebook-PC-series/3837658/model/3860166

my guess is the MOBO is bad,(the charge chip blew out)

I have a HP G60-235DX, It was working fine yesterday. Today I hit the on button and nothing happens. The indicator by the a/c adapter is on. I changed the on switch, but still nothing.

If your computer is plugged in and charging, unplug it and then press the power button, then plug it back in. If that doesn't work, remove the battery, then pop it back in and do as i said above.

Hope that helps.

Plug in charger for laptop hp g60, but not charging. How can I find it works?

Try charging the laptop without the battery. If it does not work, Check the port of the charger if it blinks any light. If it doesn't, then I guess you would have to get a new charger. If it still does not work, then the power pack should be examined by an expert.

My Hp g60 laptop battery is not working

If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all.
OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time.
If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

Try taking out the battery, (when it is not plugged in), then plugging it in (with no battery in it), and try turning it on.
