This is memory overflow problem. Lookup for the Reset button at the front panel and press it once. Switch it off and leave for about 10 minutes before powering. Good luck.

My HP all-in-one printer model C5580 will not print. In my display it keeps giving me an error code of B808268C. I have shut it off and on, checked all connections but nothing helps.. It acts like

1. Verify that the unit is switched on.
2. Open printer and remove ALL cartridges.
3. Unplug the power cord from the printer. (not from the outlet)
4. Now unplug the cable form the wall outlet
5. Wait 30 seconds.
6. Plug the power cord back into the printer.
7. Plug the power cable directly to the wall outlet (not to a surge protector, etc)
8. Open the top cover and reinsert the cartridges.
9. Turn the unit on.
10. Print a document to test

Has a code C2FF0350 or C2FF0370 and power button light always on but does not turn off

c-2ff0370 is a "Faulty Display" error code according to HP. From my perspective, it's a self destruct code that's good for HP's business. With noting otherwise wrong with my 7500A wide format, there is no way to update the firmware given the display malfunction, therefore the printer must be replaced. HP offers though free shipping on a new printer and free return of the damaged printer implying they will fix the returned printed and sell it again as reconditioned. Perhaps I will sell it to someone else instead?
For the record, this error occurred right after I installed and connected a new dual band modem. It's too much of a coincidence that after 4-5 years a simple WIFI signal could damage the machine but elsewhere others are suggesting the same.

Lights flash and message appears "Turn off and on again." Have tried disconnecting the printer from the data cable and turning the power off and on. Have disconnected the power cable from the...

Please remove the cartridges from the printer. Take a dry lint free paper towel and gently wipe the contacts on the back of the cartridge (not the bottom from where ink is present). Wipe the contacts inside the printer (on cartridge carrier). Please snap the cartridges back into the cartridge carrier and please try to print a printer self test.

HP Photosmart C5580 All-In-One Inkjet Printer all lights started flashing and it won't work.

Solution 1: Open the lid and watch the cartridges go back and forth. It might happen, that after couple of hours of just sitting down the printer starts doing the same again.

Solution 2: Lights flashing sas turn power off, then on again, so try this then

My c5580 just quit working won't turn on any thoughts?

Check the fuse on the plug? If that doesnt solve it try a different cable to ensure that the cable hasnt broken.

Flashing lights.. when i turn power off it just does same thing

All lights flashing indicates a "fatal error" condition, so the printer just needs to be reset:

1. Turn the HP c3180 off.
2. Unplug the power cord.
3. Wait a minute, then plug the power cord
back in.
4. Turn the HP c3180 back on.

This should clear the system error and restore the printer to its "out-of-the-box" default settings.
