SOURCE: Ge Adora Front Loader

If you have not already done so, clean the filter behind the panel in the front bottom of the washer. Remove the three philips head screws to get the panel off. Unscrew the plastic filter on the right hand side (use a shallow cake pan to catch any water). Remove the filter and clean out the pens, pencils, change, lint, etc... and put back in. All should work well after this. Thanks, Greg

SOURCE: Front loading ge washer won't drain?

Similar problem fixed in less than 5 minutes. Here's a post that was very helpful. http://www.foobert.com/blog/2007/04/02/ge-adora-front-loading-washer-does-not-drain/
There's a trap located under the front panel (3 screws) I undid the filter and pulled out 21 coins, 2 buttons, a 'letter h', zipper parts, a broach, and a whole lot of lint.

My wife said that the unit never got the clothes so dry afterwords, she said the almost didnt need to throw the clothes in the dryer.

NOTE: Have a ton of towels ready, and if you can fit a bucket or dish under the filter, go slow and steady. I opened it up and had several gallons all over the floor!

SOURCE: My Ge Adora washer fabric softner dispenser

You have low water pressure which wont reach the dispenser drawer during rinse cycle. Clean the feed pipe in case there's dirt in the feed gauze located at the back of the machine. The mould on the rubber is dirt in the machinme. A mixture of 1 cap of bleach and 1 small tub of Swarfega mixed with water and put into the drum on an empty wash will stop it geting worse but it cant be removed.

SOURCE: front load GE Adora washer isn't spinning when it

go to the web site for your manufacturer.

download the troubleshooting guide/manual.

there should be a procedure to retrieve "error codes" that will
narrow the problem(s)

door latch sensor is one possibility, others are
motor control unit deffective
front panel/switch control deffective

does it pump water out?
does it turn during wash cycles?
have you tried other cycles? ie, quick wash, rinse/spin only, etc?

Why won't my washer drain

Check the belt that operates the pump. If that does not help, take out the pump und check for obstructions. Pins tend to get stuck in there and keep the impeller from turning. Does the impeller turn freely? If it does, the machine will drain.

On the GE Adora machines, if the unit is not getting the correct power, the unit will not go beyond the fill point to wash. You will need to replace the "power inverter" on the unit. Here is the part you need to order.

Front load ge washer does not finish cycle

This model does not have a drain filter. There are filter screens inside the inlet valve where the hoses attach onto the machine. Take hoses off and look inside where the water goes into machine to see screens. Also, take the other end off hoses to make sure there are not screened hose washers in either end of the hose which may need to be cleaned or replaced.
