Question about Canon EOS-20D Digital Camera with 17-85mm Lens
Sounds like you unplugged the camera without using the "safely remove hardware" function on your computer. This corrupted your camera. Go into the menu and find "reset"...see if that helps. If not, remove the card and battery....press every button....leave it alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and then the battery....turn it on.
