Sounds like you have a problem with the inlet fill valve. Normally it requires power to allow water into the washer. There might be an obstruction that is preventing the valve from closing when the machine is off. Have the valve replaced, and it should fix the problem.

My washing machine starts then loses power once its filled up with water like complete power gone you have to unplug it then replug it 10 or so minutes later

Possible that when the water is filled and is ready to switch on the motor there is a connection issue due to a loose connector or a fault in the mains outlets. Please trace this to ensure that the mains supply stays even when it is seen to be power off after initial start.
Also check the mains power on the board, possible there is fault on the drive circuit or finally it can be due to a processor issue.

Washing Machine on the blink mainly due to no spin/drain cycle wo

check your drain filter, get a wet vac and vacuum the water out, then open the drain plug at bottom and try to vacuum the drain to clear out debris......then turn on and test washer if it fills and drains if it fills with water and doesn't drain then your drain pump is defective........get your model number and source for a pump motor.................................

if it doesn't fill with water then your water fill switch is defective...............source for parts..............

if this helps out anyone a feed back would be good..........

Help! My fisher paykel washing machine won't stop filling up!

If the water continues to fill even if unplugged the water valve is sticking and needs replaced. if removing power turns the water off the water level pressure switch is bad or there is something plugging the sensor tube somewhere.

Bosch continues to fill when rinsing even when the machine is off

The inlet valve is stuck open most commonly , you can check this by taking the wires off the valve and then turn everything back on , if the water is still flowing replace the inlet valve.

Dishwasher filled with water even though cycle was finished.

the same problem accures with some types of washing machines, when you turn on the machine the control switch sends a signal to a valve on the mains water supply inside the back of your machine telling it to open the problem accours if you live in an area that has hard water because lime scale builds up in this valve so when you switch it off the valve is in the open position because of a lime scale build up, i would say it needs an new valve.adrian

Try the valves inside the back where the water hoses connect to the machine they should default to the closed position when water is not required

your timer has contacts inside of the main module that makes your machine switch cycles even though it may be going round the contacts are probablyeither burnt or carboned up so bad they are not making contact the fact that it is going round pretty well confirms with me thats your whole problem good luck
