Your phone might be infected with virus, reformat phone will do, also reformat mmc, but make sure if you have some important file back it up on your pc,

hard reset is effective, switch off phone press hold green key, * and 3, switch on while holding this three keys

I hav d nokia E63..! & i cannot send any msgs.....it says "memory full , close some applications first...(& i hav absolutely no applications on except messaging)...... before it said that...

hi, the memory might truly be full...check your memory status and see if truly it is full....if after checking, you realized that it is full, then you will have to delete some messages and delete some applications that you use less often..but, if you check your memory status and you realize you still have space, then it means you will have to scan for virus.
cheers

When receive text messages they cannot be retreived

Do you see the msg "Memory Full" and not able to make space free even after deleting songs/photoes etc. if yes then read next para.

This phone has a bug. which is due to the lifebolg application in the phone. This application comes by default with the phone and is of no use. The process which starts automatically when the phone is started, cause the problem and consume all the phone memory. It leads to "Memory Full" display in the screen. Does not matter how much data u delete, u will always see this.

As a result you will not be able to see your missed calls, ur msgs..etc..so if u have this prob, let me know I will tell u the solution.

Try to reformat the memory. Dail code *#7370# I am telling this because this problem is not so rare in this model. This problem can be related with the Memory Card.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.
